Question about regulated devices, coils, and wattage

Hey guys, this is my first post here on Vaping Underground, but I am seriously confused about what watts to run with certain coils. I just got a Sigelei 150 and Doge X V2, and I'm looking for a decent flavor coil, with huge clouds. My friends say to aim for a high ohm coil (1.0-2.0) and run it at high watts (80-120), while people online are saying that sub-ohming with low watts (20-50) is the way to go. Which is true? Why do some people go low, and others go high? Which one has better flavor, which one has better vapor, etc. Also, what you you build for good flavor/ vapor on the doge and sig with 24g kanthal?

The is no best setup. its all up to you. With really high power you'll want bigger gauge kanthal, I run ~22 watts on my SubTank mini with .5, and a 1.5 ohm coils. They vape about the same. Little more ramp up with the 1.5ohm I have in there now. You probably have to experiment to find your sweet spot. That's the fun part IMHO!
