Question....Got the pulse 24 kit with sqonker mech box and seeing if its ok to use a 0.187ohm single coil with the 20700 battery in it..its the ijoy 20700 five prong top 40amp battery..What is a safe range to stay in. bought a few pre built coils packs ranging from 0.20-- 0.25--0.19--0.28

You have to be sure of your coil's resistance specially after installed but .187 on that battery from 4.2 volts to 3.7 volts is ~22A-~19A which is in range of a 30A battery. The ijoy is a little overstated but this is still in the safe range. Personally, I stick to .2 ohm and higher resistances but it is a bit overly conservative and I prefer a bit cooler vape.
Be sure to learn ohm's law and use a calculator online or app. But also make sure you know the real resistance of your coil after installation when going low so you don't end up in any danger zones.
