Some of the comments have really dubious premises. E.g.:

You don't give alcohol to those trying to stop drinking. You don't give morphine or narcon to those trying to stop opioids. You don't give tobacco in any form to those trying to quit nicotine.

My desire was to get rid of the side effects of smoking, but I've never had any particular desire to quite nicotine, thanks!
