While Penny Dreadful's Season 2 premiere isn't set to air on Showtime until Sunday, May 3rd, it can be currently viewed online (in a TV-14 version) here, as well as on the Showtime Anytime app and Showtime on Demand.
Showtime's Penny Dreadful has (sort of stealthily) returned to our lives! Ready to run rampant with freaks and ghouls and things that go "murder" in the night.
With Season 1 having the benefit of revealing most every character's twisted, dark secret, Season 2 feels like it might have less to play with. Ethan's backstory is still a mystery, but his wolf secret's out. At least to us. So the bulk of "Fresh Hell" -- Season 2's macabre opener -- was spent establishing this year's big threat. Witches. Namely, a satanic coven led by medium Madame Kali (with staunch support from her beastly daughter, Hecate).
