First tank was absolutely amazing.
Second was pretty good.
By the third fill up it started having trouble wicking.
I'd venture to say I may have been just a bit heavy on my wicking by putting just a hair too much into the channels.
We'll see how it goes after a re-wick.
After the Engine I figured this would just be a do-over of it.
Comparing the Engine to the Crius Plus, I'd take the Crius Plus any day.
It isn't the end all of RTAs but it does work well.
The Engine had those little tabs you had to line up just right to be able to put the tank back together where the Crius doesn't.
The Engine had small holes you were to try to get the wicking to sit on top of where the Crius Plus has regular channels that are a bit easier to work with.
The deck is removable from the Crius Plus where it is not in the Engine.
I didn't catch this right away until I noticed the resistance bouncing a bit.
Once I realized the deck wasn't tight in the base and caught onto what was going on, I was a bit happier with the design.

The top fill is exactly the same as the Engine so we know it works well.
Standard 510 drip tip.
I did NOT open or use the top airflow because all they've ever done for me was mute the flavor.
Over all I think it is a fair RTA.

What are you thoughts?

Comparing decks between the OBS Crius Plus and OBS Engine:
OBS Crius Plus;

OBS Engine;

You can see the Engine has those little holes to put your wicking in where the Crius Plus just has the regular channels.

I don't have either but I do have the original OBS Crius. Which I loved until it started seeping on the bottom which I believe from what everyone has posted was due to the press fit design of the deck.

Thanks for your review & beautiful pics!

Like the J/F control.
Doesn't leak.

Clunky China does Decco design. Ugh.
Way too airy.
Did 5 builds from .25 to .8,, slick to tanktrax. Regulated & Mechs.

Wanted to Love it, don't hate it. Just another tasteless, airy Atty..

Kinda on the same page regarding taste. Big chamber and comparing the same juice with another RTA (can't remember if it was a Merlin or Billow V3 plus) it lacked. Flavor. A lot. Wicking kind of finicky. As long as I didn't chain vape I was ok. But I never had luck with those dual beveled Griffin-esque juice wells. Nice construction though. Didn't leak through the rings like the Billow Plus. Ended up binning the Crius. Which now joins 2 Mages (shoddy construction), Griffin 25 (wick woes), and Serpent mini (just too small for my preferences) in the looney bin.

great post OP!

i have the merlin and this i got from the previous thread from vaporworld for $5! i figured i could not go wrong with that.
i picked up 2!

MANNNN was i happy with it. its an amazing tank. i wasnt expecting much, but its solid. the juice fill is the best on any tank ive used.
why arent we funding this JF thing?? lol

taste was great for me with ss coils. i had no issues with it. no leaking. first week so far so good.

compared to merlin, id still go for merlin(single coil guy here) but for dual coil this beats the heck out of any IJOY product on the market hands down.
ill never buy another ijoy anything again.
