Need help about rda !!

Hi guys, so i've been vaping for a long time now and i just got myself into rda's.

I have tried several time to make a dual or a single coil but every time even if i use 0mg nicotine juice i have enormous throat hit and i dont know why !!

first time i tried a rda was at ma local vapeshop and i looove it. The guy show me exactly how to build a coild so i bought some japanese organic cotton and some 5mm double twisted kanthal.

Did i missed a step because its really annoying and the dripper i bought was pretty expansive i really want to use it the proper way !

ps: sorry for my bad english !

Do you have an ohm meter to know what your coil is built at?
What are you building on? What kind of tank and what kind of device?
Maybe take a look here to learn a bit more about coil building:

You might also want to consider changing to a higher VG juice to help with that throat hit. Many people switch to a 70/30 VG/PG e-juice with great results.

Please tell us what is your dripper and what is your mod? That way you might be able to help you better. :)

yes 0 nic level and yes i was a really good smoker and i vape 10mg nicotine in my aspire nautilus

Then, as others have said - check your ohms. If you have any kind of short you'll get nasty hits. And also increase your VG to max (max is often 80% not 100%). Any juice you can vape in the nautilus is probably too high in PG for a dripper if you're lung inhaling.

Do you have an ohm reader?

what gauge wire are you using and how many wraps and what are you wrapping it around? On top of possibly having a short if you have a high gauge wire or a ridiculous coil build for your wattage the coil can get almost too hot giving you a burning sensation if you're not used to the vapor being that warm and that can be harsh on your throat...I hope you have an ohms meter by now and have read up on that coil 101 because I think it will help. I have a thread I link often with a very basic coil wrapping guide here I'll link along with the steam engine coil calculator and a basic ohms calculator...there good links to have as a reference. Best of luck to you bud :)

This is what I'm thinking, too. Dollars to donuts, I bet you're getting dry hits from pushing the coil/coils too hard and/or poor wicking. Wicking was the absolute hardest thing for me to get right, and I would get that harsh hit with 0-Nic, too.
