I'm looking for a new tank for my Smok G-Priv. I've had the big baby beast for 2 weeks and have already went through 5 coils and a glass (i dropped it after trying to get it unstuck to clean it.) Now I am looking for a sub ohm tank with pre made coils, as I don't want to get into coil building just yet maybe in the future though. I will be vaping at around 60 watts, as that's my preferred wattage level. Flavor ain't huge for me, but I don't want it to be nonexistent. My limit I've got available to spend on a new tank is about 40 bucks. So any suggestions?

    P.S I know I'm being picky

    1. Freemax fireluke
Keep hearing great things about freemax fireluke. Maybe an owner will chime in and give you the ins and outs.
    2. Uwell Crown III
I have vaped on this one. Great vape experience and flavor. I don't own one as I stick to rebuildables.
Warning: Uwell may have switched out the wire/cotton in their coils and the quality has subsequently diminished. Check out Daniel's (DJLsb) recent youtube update about this.

I really like my FireLuke, It Vapes really well and so far the taste has been spot on no leaking problems just a good solid hit, I have been using the 1.5 coil head and have the Maxo set at 85 watts it can go higher but I like a slightly warm vape. Sitting on its very own Maxo if it tips over the Big Bubble tank does not even touch the table but with smaller mods if it hit hard enough I'm sure you could break it however it does feel like quality glass. All the threading is nicely done so no issues there either, I think you will really enjoy this tank.

I've had good experience with Amigo tanks and their 0.5 ohm coils.

I'm also really enjoying my new Veco One Plus Tank. It uses Vaporesso's EUC coil.

Hang in there.....you'll find what works best for you.

Yes I do I like my Crown three tanks but I am not buying coils right now because they are bad, the Crown three does not have a RBA deck which is kinda a bummer but I do like these tanks they are built well threads are good. Between these two tanks your looking at the Fire Luke gives a better hit as far as clouds go , The Crown three also has spot on taste. Now UWELL please get this bad coil situation fixed.

Okay, from what I'm seeing the crown 3 is good but the coils suck. The fireluke seems to be the way to go. I'll look into it, but it seems it'll be what I get.

@SpectoVia what's your current experience with the the veco one plus?

I bought a Vaporesso Tarot Nano kit from a local B&M. I was very happy with the regular Veco tank that came with it. The only downside I found was limited 2 ml tank capacity. I can't risk running out of liquid while I'm at the in-laws watching Pops cook 6 different kinds of meat on the grill all at once. So, the obvious solution....."needz moar capacity".

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...ntic-vaporesso-veco-one-plus-tank-clearomizer

The Veco Plus doubles the capacity to 4 ml. I'm not sure there is much difference versus the Amigo tank and coil performance wise, but the EUC coils seem not to get gunked up as much as the Amigo coils. I recently ran 30 ml of Verde Valley Vapes "Spearmint Gum" through my Veco Plus tank and I think it was in good enough shape to vape 30 more. The tank is well put together and I really enjoy having the "drop in" coil replacement function. You can change the coil with liquid still in the tank. You can also remove the top cap to perform a top fill. I have not tried the ceramic coils yet, only the 0.4 and 0.5 ohm traditional Clapton coils.
I would also recommend this tank from a "cost per coil" perspective.

FastTech - $8.08 for a pack of 5 including adapter sleeve.

    Element Vape - $7.95

    Direct Vapor - $13.95 for 10 pack

I have found a nice bonus; with the EUC sleeve adapter, I am able to use the EUC coils in my Amigo tanks.

These look good if you don't need to go above 40 watts that is the max.

My tarot nano unfortunately went to my friend to get her off smokes but I do agree that the veco tank is great. Long lasting coils & I've struggled to get better flavour from a tank. My main tank now is the nautilus 2.

But I get 2 or 3 weeks out of my baby beast coils. I don't know why people go through so many an it seems to be a common issue with the coils!

I find the Q2 coils to be the problematic ones.

Another thing, the juice holes on the coils come pretty high up the tank, so I refill before it drops to 1/2 or so. Maybe this set up is causing people to have dry hits, and then burnt?

Doing this, and using the X4 and occasionally T6 and T8, my coils have been doing well in the baby tanks.

I've never had a problem with the Q2 coils but the T8 coils do seem to have better flavour but you have a point & I apply this to all of my tanks. Always keep them topped up.
