Anyone have experience with all of these brands? Any personal recommendations or warnings on these?

I noticed that depending on the flavors, some of the listed ingredients are as follows:

1. caprylic/capric triglycerides
2. Ethyl Alcohol
3. Citric Acid
4. Polysorbate 20
5. Triacetin
6. Alcohol

Thanks in advance!

The TFA website will note the ones that some may have concern with, such as acetoin, diacetyl, acetyl proprional. (I hope I got those words right) LorAnn uses coloring in some of their flavors, Capella has started creating "version 2" of some of theirs. I use some TFA, some Caps.

If you're looking to stay away from the custard notes, etc... FlavourArt is a good choice. I use a lot of those, a several of the TFA flavors. I don't use LorAnn. I had some, but paid them forward.

Hope that helps, but I'm sure others will share their experiences, as well.

Yup, FlavourArt is probably the safest, and are pretty good flavorings so far.

Capella has a few good ones but may not be as safe.

TFA lists the contents on their web page, some are good, some are bad.

Shied away from LA, as they use a lot of food coloring, and better choices out their anyway IMO.

VZ-SC Gourmet flavorings are pretty good but the contents are iffy.

Thanks for the input. Does anyone have any info on the certain ingredients I mentioned in the first post?

1. caprylic/capric triglycerides
2. Ethyl Alcohol
3. Citric Acid
4. Polysorbate 20
5. Triacetin
6. Alcohol

In other words, the ones to definitely avoid, thanks!

you can ask by the companies you are shopping with.. most either say something on their site, or have files in access..
if not, phone calls will help.

wizardslab, tfa and fa have notes on their sites as to what is what already.. take the time to look around :)
