Recently bought the kangertech mini, what coil setting do I put it in? Either takes Titanium, Nickle Or Power Mode.

Or is it all preference?

No, not preference... it depends on which factory coil wire type, or type of wire used if you build a coil yourself on the "rebuildable deck".
Kanthal uses "power mode" ie: watts, and Ni (nickel) and Ti (titanium) will each use their respective temperature control modes. DO NOT MIX AND MATCH.

I'll presume you have a factory coil for or in the tank. If you look closely at the square body of the replaceable coil, it will say which type, if Ni or Ti (does Kanger even make Ti heads yet?).
If it is regular Kanthal... it will just have the resistance in ohms. Those are either 0.5 or 1.2 (maybe 1.5). The Nickel coil is 0.15, so look carefully.

Or just read what the eVic says the resistance is, if it's already in the tank and on the mod.

Im using the one thats already installed.. It says 0.5 ohms with 15w - 60w

Excellent... regular Kanthal sub ohm coil. Use watts, DO NOT try to use temperature control. The mod cannot read the extremely tiny rise in the resistance so it cannot limit the temperature. You'll need a coil build or factory coil head that uses either Ni or Ti wire for TC.

Perfect!!!! Thanks!!!!
