How much did it cost you for all the parts.

For the parts to build just the mod itself it's around $25 on the site I mentioned above. That's for a raw unpainted box, the mosfet, resistor, 510 connector, magnets, and the fire switch. The cutoff switch I used I had lying around the house from some electronics kits I had, but you can probably get them from any electronics supplier for something like $3-5 a crack. The wiring I used was scraps from work as well as the heat shrink I put over the mosfet, and the rubber tape I put between the negative battery contacts and the case and epoxy for gluing down the battery sled. I also used my soldering station and other tools at work so I didn't have to buy much of that. Batteries I pick up from either Liion wholesale or RTD vapors and run on average $5-8ish per battery. I don't remember what I paid for the paint I used, or for the decal paper I used to print out the decal on that one. If you pick up all the parts and wire on your own it will run around $45-50ish without tools and paint. The site I buy my parts from also has powdercoated boxes if you don't want to mess with paint. I picked up one of the CNC milled no lean boxes already powder coated for $20 for my second build. Parts to build the mod itself without batteries gets up to around $40 in that case, with everything costing you around $60ish if you're buying wire and heatshrink and whatnot.
Modzbynazy.com is the site I use for parts. Be aware when you select magnets that you will need 4 of each type for your box.
You will also need to drop something down the holes in the main box so the magnets sit level.
You can also use schematics found on
Nonameboxmods.com. If you want, you can buy kits there as well. The kits on that site will include a printed circuit board with mosfets and the cutoff switch already mounted and you get wire and heat shrink, but the kits are a bit pricier, and there's a bit more work involved in modifying the battery sled. There's also handy links on that site for a drilling guide so you know where to drill your holes and there's a video I suggest watching that goes into exact detail on how he builds his mods. I used that video as a guide and modified what I did as needed.
