Joyetech continues the Espion lineup with the Joyetech Espion Infinite A pretty cool classic “Tron / Tempest video game look If you are under the age of 40 you may not get that reference. Mine came in the blue which is close to a cobalt blue with matching conquer bulge tank. That has a capacity of 5.5ML
My first thoughts were this sucker is heavy after a month of using the Espion Solo. Unfortunately I do not currently have a scale but weight wise it feels comparable to the old Smok XCube but the Infinite is a 230W Dual 21700 mode that is capable of using 2) 18650 with the provided adapters. The good news is it is compact for being a dual 21700 battery mod & is not as bad as I thought it would be for a daily driver device. The lights are a neat feature but it makes the display look small. For my first downer is the screen material. It a flexible plastic imo it feels a little cheap compared to the rest of the device. I don’t think this will be very scratch resistant & I can feel a ripple or pop when I run my finger down the screen but I get it glass would be expensive with the cuts the display has. The menu system like other Espion’s is easy to navigate & is pretty much the same as the original Espion with added functions (ex. Light modes) the menu (+/- ) buttons have been moved to the top of the device which I think is a much better placement than on the front. It is a very flush centered 510. I have tried many tanks & rda’s & all sat flush with no gap on any of them. It fires the new Conquer very fast almost instant response. This makes the experience with the ProCore mesh coil a pleasant one. The Conquer has probably the most airflow out of the Procore tanks & like the Procore Air it is a slide top for easy filling. A note of caution you will want to remove the Drip tip when filling when using some big bottles (You may not get the proper angle & will not fill properly) the Conquer with the Procore CD mesh coil sends decent vapor production with great flavor & seems to have respectable life (2 weeks so far) Speaking of life, Battery life is amazing. Even though I do not vape as much as I used to I still go through roughly 20 ml per day & when using the 21700 set I can go at least 3 days before charging. The Infinite is capable of 2Amp charging as well. I always liked the idea of reverse charging but my style of vaping with 18650 devices it was not practical. Now I wish this one had it!
