I'm building a coil(s) for the first time, using a 24 gauge wire.
I noticed after doing the wraps that the wire is thinner than the coil's I've bought before.
More so, the resistance is 0.12 and when I tried to turn off the mod, it of course, sent current through the coil, but only for an instant. I then touched the coil and it was hot (enough to make me recoil away)
It made me question whether its even safe to vape with this coil, because if for an instant it becomes hot, then I wonder what can happen when I send current through for 2 seconds as I usually do for an average puff.
I'd also like to note that the coils I've bought before were "claptons" whatever that means, so they weren't just wires wrapped, they were the fancy kind.
I'm using Zeus RTA as the atomizer and an Aegis Legend as the mod.
