If i was brand new to building coils i might of been interested but coil wrapping is just so easy to do with just a small basic screwdriver or a couple drill bits .

After trying endless varieties of coil types including ones using twisted wire , i never found any that produced a a superior vape to more standardized coils.

If the twisted did produce a superior vape this would be something to try, no doubt. Joe just posted a coil jig that cost three bucks and change on his blog which is much more in line of what most of these should cost.

Roger , post this over in the coil forum as well.

I like mine.

Setup:

Mandrels:

(plus I have a lot more tiny ones I custom made)

I don't recommend going out and spending $450 on that for building attys tho, especially since you won't need all the cutting parts.
I'm just lucky enough to have it in my jewelery tool arsenal. :p

Wow, that setup looks like you could custom wrap flys for fly fishing!
