How to rebuild a CE5 eGo Clearomizer?

Hi, so I've had my vape for a few days now, works great. The site I ordered from sent me a 20% coupon that expires on the 9th, so I need this answered quick. Instead of buying completely new heads, I figured I'd save money and "rebuild" when the time comes. I have a CE5 eGo clearomizer and I want to know what wire and wick to use. I found these two products on the site and would like to know if they would work:

https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/mods-rbas/wicks-wire-mesh/replacement-wicks-for-rba-s.html

https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/kanthal-wire.html

Also, I saw some youtube videos on how to put the coil around the wick, but I do not know what exactly to do. My clearomizer is 2.4 ohms and I'd like to rebuild something similar. So how many coils around the wick, how close to each other, and do they go tight or loose around the wick? Thank you

Sorry to come off as a jerk but I am really trying to help.

You will be much better served by not using anything that starts with CE.

IMHO they should have been discontinued about 3 years ago.

And the remaining stock destroyed.

Get these instead.............

And some replacement heads that are inexpensive enough that you don't need to try to save money by rebuilding....

Even though I am into RBAs and the like, I still love the T-2s.

Nice warm and flavorful vape, long lasting and easy to fill.

You'll need to have an ohm meter, or mulitmeter, or at least a mod that checks ohms. Not that you want an alternative, but if you're going to go into rebuilding, there are far better clearos/glassos/tanks out there to do it on. Those never lasted long enough to bother with, in my experience. I have the same protanks that I bought almost a year and a half ago, working fine with rebuilt coils.

Now, someone will say mine is outdated, lol. It is, but I'm happy with it, just as I'm sure you're happy with yours, too.

First time I ordered wick and wire, I got it at Discount Vapers. Same stuff you're looking at, better price. Twice the length of kanthal. Now I buy it 100ft at a time. Mine came from Amazon, Temco brand.

Although I love my "cheap" clearos... JMO, I don't think I would waste my time and efforts on a CE5. These were intended to be disposable... The materials to rebuild a CE5 will cost you more than the CE5 is worth. If you want to rebuild, get an inexpensive RDA and build away.

FWIW, I really like my Aerotanks. ;)

Super-simple and not terribly expensive to buy heads for.

Same here with my T3d's, I like that what works is simple and easy to change out in a pinch:)

First thing i ever rebuilt was PT1 and it was a great improvement.
But CE5? They're not worth the hassle.
