Well, looks like ordering from China is going to start being a big big problem. According to the article:

"Under the sweeping draft law, which begins its path through the legislature on February 20, anyone who imports, makes, sells or promotes new smoking products could face six months in jail or a HK$50,000 ($6,370) fine."

Boy am I glad I stocked up. I actually just received 2 mods from efuntop on Tuesday, but I fear those were the last from China. I hope I'm wrong.....

Hong Kong isn't China, per se. It shouldn't affect anything for us, IMO.

This is the one that matters:
"The thing is we're located in Hong Kong which right next to Shenzhen, the hub and heartland of manufacturing e-cigarettes," says Lalji, adding that the Chinese mega-city makes 95% of the world's e-cigarette supply.

The US is their #1 customer too. ;-)

I really hope you are correct!

FAIK, nearly all of the Chinese wholesale sites such as FT, Gearbest, etc. are all in Shenzhen. They supply our e-cig market for the most part.
Now, shipping via HKP as an option may be out, but they sucked anyways.

Right, but if I recall, there are several sites that list their location in HK.

Maybe we'll see more US warehouses....

Most Chinese gear all comes from the mainland, little to nothing comes from Hong Kong which is governed differently than the mainland.

Summary, this will have little to no effect for Chinese gear what so ever.
