I bought a Beast Box mod a week ago and noticed that the original mosfet that was wired to it was all weird. After reading around, many people have been saying that it was indeed wired incorrectly.
So I bought a IRLB3034 mosfet. I have basic soldering skills, enough to make sure it's clean and well connected. I followed the diagram as what is proper, the only difference is for the Gate, instead of a regular wire to the switch, I instead used the LED that the box came with.
Now the dilemma. Pop in 2 VTC5 batteries, pushed the button. The LED turns on, but the atty doesn't fire. Of course I made sure the polarities of the batteries follows the diagram and the markings on the box.
Now out of curiosity, I flipped the batteries so that it's "+" connected to the "-" (bottom) of the box. The box auto fires continuously without me even pushing the button.
I'm stumped and frustrated. Instead of taking a picture of my box, I editted the picture I found online that I followed the diagram so that it matches exactly to my wiring. Only change is that I marked "LED" there there wasn't.
What do you guys think is the problem? Thanks!
