...As thread title implies, my resistance is jumping ALL OVER THE PLACE on my Goliath V1. Attempted build was dual coil 24g Kanthal A1, 8 wraps @2mm... I got the tank used. it appears that the positive post had at one time had gotten too hot, probably from an accidental pocket firing for too long. I have since disassembled and cleaned as thoroughly as I could. It seems as though I cannot remove the positive post for proper inspection and or cleaning, not sure if possible or how. is there any further possible recourse or hope for repair of this tank?
