If you manually type [ IMG] paste the URL here [ /IMG] {no spaces anywhere}, it will display the GIF (or any image) that way.
So you are saying if I put it like this it should work
You can click Reply (on this post) and look at the Image Code around your URL to see what I mean.

Or just try editing and typing in the [ IMG] brackets around the URL like this . . .
