Herakles RTA-2, if you can't build on that beast, you can't build.
I have to agree.
Been vaping since 2011, have over 50 tanks and all but 2 are regular coiled tanks.
I have a Samurai and the Herakles RTA2.
The Herakles RTA2 has been sitting on the shelf giving me the stink eye for quite some time now.
When I ordered it, I honestly had no intent or using it, I simply got it because it was on sale and I thought I'd save it for a rainy day.
Well, today is that rainy day.
I tried twice on the Samurai a long time ago and wasn't impressed so I left it alone and stuck with tanks like the Crown, Herakles (original and plus), Cleito/Cerakoat, ArcticV8, TFV4, TFV4 Micro, TFV8, TFV8 baby, Original Super Tank, Rafale, Starre Pro, Triforce 30mm, and so on.
I picked up the Smok Micro One kit that came with the Minos.
Once the coil that was in it burnt and I was waiting on replacements to show up at my door I decided to try the deck on that to see how it went simply because it was there.
Turns out it was pre-loaded with coils and all I needed to do was grab some cotton bacon.
I thought what the hell.
To my surprise it went rather well.
I though if I could pull that off maybe I'd go ahead and try the Herakles RTA2 and see how that'd go over.
Grabbed some 24 gauge Clapton wire, gave it 5 wraps on a .3mm and ended up with a pair that gave me .21 ohms.
Seemed ok, cotton went in ok and didn't look much different than most of the reviews I've watched.
Dropped a few on it and threaded it all together.
On my second hit, while I was kind of impressed that I didn't break something or throw something, I thought to myself, damnit was I supposed to fire those coils before putting cotton in it?
Decided it was too late and vaped on.
End result is that it not only tasted great but it actually worked.
Considering the fact I never wrapped a coil before and it actually worked, it MUST not be too difficult to use this particular RTA.
Yes, I said ALL that just to agree with your comment.
haha
