There is a high-pitched ringing in my ears that I'm just used to. Fortunately it's not very loud and seems like white noise to me. But still I can't fall asleep sometimes. Having surfed the Internet, I found out about several tonal tinnitus treatment types. I'm thinking about trying Otoharmonics, a sound therapy that allows patients to listen to their personalized sound match.
I suffer that. I also have to watch my carbs as I have an issue with processing them. It causes impaired fasting gly....whatever it is. Basically it mimicks diabetes. Watch the carbs and im good.
Why am I saying this? Because one of the symptoms is frequent urination. This naturally causes dehydration. Vaping without keeping up the fluids can do so to, dehydrate.
So I suffer tinnitus, mildy most times.
But before I realised and found out about my carb issue the tinnitus was much worse than now. Now I control the carbs and urinate normal, dont dehydrate. The tinnitus is mild.
But, now and then when I heavy vape guess what happens SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS between the ears in my head. Going heavy on the vape and not keeping up my fluids robs me of fluids, dehydrates me and SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
Its not the vaping directly causing it. It is having a predisposition to tinnitus or an underlying issue of it that comes to the fore when dehyration occurs. Dehydration tinnitus is not commonly if ever spoken of or even on anyones radar, Drs included. But it is real.
Drink up, water, you may be surprised.
It does not surprise me one little bit to hear about anyone complaining of tinnitus after vaping. Its not the vape directly, its rather the underlying problem it exposes.
