I won a contest here on VU for $25.00 in freebies from DIYFS. Found the PM on Wednesday morning and sent DIYFS an email later that day. Today, Saturday, the flavors arrived in the mail! I had expected it to take longer.

Have not tried the flavors yet, but I'll update this post when I do. It might be a week or two - next on my mixing list is to try converting 60ml of some crap 100mg nic to nic salts so I can stand it. Waiting on citric acid for that.

    Thanks DIYFS for quick turnaround!

So what did you get and how did it taste? I tried their holy vanilla, gooey butter cake and angel food cake and they are all outstanding. The stuff is expensive but I’ve never had flavorings so good. Every flavoring was excellent so a 100% success rate is impressive and wondering which others to try.

Lol, only teasin' ... I also won a recent contest and my flavor haul just arrived! :confetti:

I have to say "Thank You' to @jj2 and @reddhott at Vapers United for hosting the contest and of course, @DIY Flavor Shack Inc. for being a most generous sponsor!!

All of the flavors smell great ... I'm in the process of mixing a few up now, might even sneak a taste or two prior to letting them steep a bit. I should also mention that I just placed my order on Friday afternoon so it's clear that they are on the ball. I am impressed needless to say, as well as grateful obviously. :)

So, even if I find a lump of coal in my stocking tomorrow, I'm still doing pretty good this Christmas, lol. :D

So there I was teasing the OP about updating this thread and lo and behold, I forgot to update it too.

This probably isn't going to be a big surprise but I found the Holy Vanilla and the Holy Holy RY4 to be excellent. The latter I'm using in place of TFA RY4D in a couple of recipes and they were definitely enhanced. Holy Vanilla is a darker 'thicker' vanilla for a lack of a better term. It's strong and bold so it holds up well against other flavors that might otherwise walk right over lighter vanillas. This flavor is going to be quite useful in new recipes and also to add a different dimension to existing recipes.

I also got to try Metro Man thanks to a free sample that they were kind enough to include ( Thank You again DIYFS!! ) and it tasted exactly like they described it ... a glazed doughnut topped with breakfast cereal. I believe this is meant as a one shot and that's how I used it; very tasty! The recommend usage rate was 10% but my sweet spot was roughly 8% ... not too shabby for a full flavored vape that only requires a single flavor bottle. None of the dreaded play doh aftertaste from this flavor either so that's another definite plus. I also got to try 'The Strawberry' and I found it be a pretty realistic ripe strawberry. I used it @ 5% standalone and it had plenty of flavor for me. I've only done a SFT so far but I will definitely be trying this in some other recipes soon.

I still have a couple more flavors I need to try so I'll come back later and update this further but I think it's probably obvious already that I'm enjoying these flavors quite a bit.

Oh, I should mention a couple other things too. I was happy to see that they fill their bottles completely, unlike some other vendors that I won't mention here. It's a small thing sure but I hate getting bottles that have what appears to be 25% air space. I was also impressed with the added touches they included even on something that was really inexpensive. I purchased a small amount of menthol crystals and not only did they include directions for mixing them, they also included a small scoop for measuring! Not too many places would have bothered but clearly DIYFS was thinking of their customers when they did that. Kudos!

So far I have had a great experience with my DIYFS stuff. I ordered Holy Vanilla (it is unbelievably delicious), Gooey Butter Cake (excellent), and Mr Good Stuff (only done testers haven't used it in a mix) and they included a free sample of Caramel Nut Cheesecake and not a tiny little 5ml either, it is a 15ml bottle. I was very impressed, they obviously noticed I ordered dessert flavors and threw in a free flavor of another dessert. Any time I have gotten free samples it's been some erroneous flavor that probably doesn't sell well. So I thought that was awesome.

I got Marshmallow, which was outstanding and I've already used it all up; Butterscotch, which I haven't opened yet; Amaretto, which is good and I'm consistently using it; and they threw in a freebie of Murph Berries, which I have used a time or two and it's just ok. Berries are really not my thing.

In my case, the freebie made absolutely no sense when you consider the other flavors I bought, but it was still a nice touch.
