I did mine recently in VG at room temp (pretty high - around 85%) but used 1/8th of a teaspoon in 9mls, as I have read that VG can "hold onto" less. It will apparently dissolve into the VG at quantities higher than I used, initially, but will start separating over time if you use more. The amount Teresa used for PG (1/4th tsp per 8-10mls) is consistent with what I've come across reading about it.

My concern about citric acid (aside from the possibility of coil gunking) is that it turns rancid. I know that at higher concentrations in a solution of water at (my) room temperature it does this in about two weeks. But PG may have some preservative properties? For that matter, afaik, citric acid itself has preservative properties, at least in some contexts! I really need to learn more--don't know much, but thought I'd just raise the issue...maybe someone more knowledgeable can pick it up.
