Hello everyone. I have the MVP3.0 pro and the coolfire 4 and I have 2 questions; 1st- can these be charged without the tanks attached, and with the units turned on? 2nd- can they be charged while they are turned off? I understand these are ridiculous questions to most of you. Better safe than blown up.

I have an MPV 3 pro. I've never bothered to turn it off, or take the tank off while charging. It generally sits on my night stand. And I use it in pass thru mode until I doze off. No issues.

Short answer is you do not need to power off your MVP3 to charge it. That said as a parent of young kids I always 5-click mine off before leaving them unattended.
