Im trying to decide between this and the ipv3 Thinman. I dont need the extra 50W, but the number is enticing. Is this the V2 with the all magnet battery cover?

That is the Sigelei +. I don't think that comes out until December. At least where I preordered mine, it wont get to me until December.

I don't know why, but I really don't like the touch button on the IPVs.

Gotcha, I know there is a V2, I've seen vendors with them advertised as such and in stock. Don't know if it's different from the plus, or how it differs at all. Anybody... Google? Lol. I'm thinking the Sigelei for me. Gonna need a couple pairs of batts to marry, so I need to factor that in, too. Hopefully I can get one for my birthday/holidays. It's convenient that they fall around the same time, larger gifts are possible.

The V2 still has screws. Don't quote me on this, but I believe the only difference between the original and V2 is additional connection pins with the V2 and the battery connections are not as sharp since the V1 would scratch the bottom of some batteries. If you want screwless, I would wait for the plus. If you don't want to wait you can cut and glue the screw tops, fill the wholes, or (easiest of all) get a jwrap. I believe jwraps cover the screws.

Yeah, just did some google work. Eciggity has a V2 with no screw holes and an extra magnet for $99.99, not worth the price, that's a pair of batts. I watched a vid, and the V1 were essentially prototypes it said. They aren't serialized, and the internals have no polarity sticker. I'm gonna message 101 to see if this is the V2. Such a deal.
