Atlantis V2 or Subtank Mini for ABS Box Mod V2?

I've been interested in this mod for a little while and wanting to set up an affordable sub ohm mod, I have some questions about compatibility:

ABS V2 Style Mechanical Box Mod Unregulated Mosfet Chip 18650 RDA Mod:

1. Will both of these work/fit on the mod without rebuilding it?

2. Which do you prefer?

Thanks!!

For an unregulated mod like that i would seriously suggest you dont go for a tank that uses premade coils like the Atlantis and Subtank Mini. If you go unregulated you almost need to go the RDA rout or a good RTA. You can do it, its just not suggested. If you do get a tank thats designed for high voltage and high wattage. The two you listed are not.

Due to your mech mod not being a hybrid (where the atomizer's 510 connects directly to the battery), you can use either tank. The aforementioned concern is when using a hybrid mod, the atomizer's 510 might make a short, and in a worse case scenario, the battery explodes. Therefore, for a hybrid mod, you need a tank with an adjustable 510 pin (screw), in order to avoid a possible short.

What is a hybrid? Im not sure at all. Ive been told to avoid all tanks on all mech mods just to be safe.

So in a hybrid mod the 510 connection creates the second half of the current? IE the positive?

The difference of a hybrid mod is, it doesn't have a (spring) pin connecting to the atomizer's pin, like other mods do. It has just a threaded hole, where the atomizer is screwed in. Therefore, the atomizer's center pin is making direct contact to the batteries positive button. So, when this pin doesn't protrude enough, it can create a short, which can lead to the battery exploding.
