I have this problem I can't seem to figure out. Had this problem with Kamrys pipe aswell as a little cheaper vape stick and now my new SMOK V8. I always tend to get dry hits that tastes like ass after the 2nd or 3rd drag or so. The coils I have tried on this is the prebuilt "0,4 ohm - 55-65 w". And this is after I have primed it very well, letting the juice sink in for a half an hour. And after that, doing some drags without power on. Starting on the lowest wattage.
"Okay, so now this cant go wrong".
First drag: oh Nice, its working. Great taste.
Second drag: this is very nice. Especially IF you like....
Third drag: ASSHOLE
So now, instead of vanilla or watermelon, I feel the tingeling sensation of bum on my tastebuds.
So there are two things I imagine causing this. The waiting time after priming is not probably it, but it could be:
1. After Ive primed the coil, I tend to put it in the vape right away. Then let it sit there for 30 min.
(I read that you can get an airlock and not letting the juice prime properly when installing the primed coil right away without letting it sink in.)
And I dont know if this have to do with anything but:
2. When "pre-puffing" the switched off device, I always hold in the "fire"-button. Should i NOT press the fire button when priming?
Okay, so these two things are the only I can think of... Thoughts?
And yea, since the coils doesnt seem to be burnt, at least by the looks of them, could it be fixed with a couple of new juice drops on the coil and letting them sink in?
