Help pick my mod.

I need a new mod and I've been searching for two months now and can't pick one. Ill list what I want and what is important, please help with any ideas.

Mainly want a box mod, will entertain a tube.

Size matters, I like small, nothing huge. I am OK with something not tiny specially if it uses 2 batteries.

Temp control is OK, but not a must.

50 watt min. Really not reason for higher then 80watts. OK with buying something that goes higher but not a deal breaker.

Ideally something they make a sleeve for something that won't break easy.

Price wise I don't want to spend over $100. Ideally $50-80.

Not a fan of sigelei. Currently have their 50watt box and I hate it. Screw for battery door needs to be tightened down way to often (only change battery once a day and I feel like I have to tighten the screw every other day).

Lastly if it can be helped don't want to deal with a over seas vendor.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

** edit ** I would prefer not a internal battery. I like being able to change it out when needed.

I do like that one and I was going to buy it (had issue with seller and ship time). I want to try to find something without a internal battery.

I am pretty new to the vaping world but i bought the subox mini and if im correct it fits your needs well. Under $80.00. 50 watts.external battery. And on the up side you get the tank too. only thing it dose not come with the 18650 battery

You may want to take a look at the IPV3 LI. It's not small by any means but it uses 2 18650s. It's 10-165 watts out of the box and upgradeable to 200 watts atm. It also does temperature control. I'm really liking mine, feels good in the hand, solid, not flimsy. No tool battery change and I believe I just saw sleeves were already available for it in another thread. I don't need all that power atm, but it's nice to know it's there if I need it in the future or maybe to jump start my car in an emergency lmao.

I bought mine at 101 vape for 89.99 and added priority mail as my shipping choice. Out the door for less than a hundred bucks and got it in 2-3 days. You can probably find it a little cheaper, but I like dealing with 101 Vape. Good luck!

Cheers,
Steve

Ipv not interested in. Big and I used the one that had the touch sensor..for some reason just didn't like it. I was looking at the kanger box. To me that is a mod I would get if I can't ever find anything I actually like. That or the evic.

Is the ipv wired in series or parallel? When I looked at one vendors page for it. It says two batteries and twice the voltage. Seemed odd

Honestly bro other than that right now it's the ipv series and the kangers that are hot right now with the price range your looking at. The evic is the dark horse out of them. It's supposed to be pretty beastly and the price rocks. Fricking 58.49 or some shit I saw!

iPV3 Li is in series, Get an sx mini m class if you want a great mod.. does 60 watts out of the box add a battery tube and you can do 150 watts plus it does temp control. they make sleeves for it aswell. if you want a cheaper similiar mod look into the iPV D2 should be out in 5 days no touch sensor 75 watts and does temp control oh and single 18650. maybe a ipv2 mini 70 watts single 18650.

Do you use the evic?

The problem I have is so many mods come out and I really like a lot of them. Then I find reviews on them and most times it looks like the mod sucks at life.

The kamry 100watt. Looked like wood body with brass tops. Vw and dual 18650. And that 60watt project sub ohm box , that looks like the kamry with the big color screen, I really really like. And lastly the zero mod clone with the wood sleeve. Any review I found trashed the mod. Except the zero mod. Problem with that is I don't know how I feel about the gravity switch.

Your choices are the ipv4(s), ipv3li, ipvdi, evic, kangers, or a few unregulated box mods

Have heard really good things about this geeco company and their zero mod clone has some extra features that most dnalike clones don't.

So here is one of the mods I really liked, but didnt find any good reviews on it.
http://vapingunderground.com/threads/project-sub-ohm™-briefcase-tc-50-watt-box-mod-53-99-fs.91114/

I ordered the evic from them too. Ordered the night the thing went on sale - still hasnt shipped. They reponded me to asking about it only saying i could pick a different mod, get a refund, or wait for it to come in stock. I asked for a refund but nothing yet.
I haven't heard much about it honestly. But if its what you like and want I'd say try it out.
So you ordered the evic vt from gearbest 2 weeks ago aswell? I really wish they would just ship the bugger out already.

Problem is I don't have the money to burn on a lemon. Only reason I am leaning towards buy the evic is that it is going to be a safe bet , or at least should be.

75 watts and 50 joules in temp control does ni200 and Ti01 takes a single 18650 smaller then the ipv2 mini comes with a sleeve and the price should be around $60-90 depending where you buy it from.

Temp control is growing crazy fast it might be worth dealing with your sig50 watt for another few weeks to see how the roll out goes and how it performs in real vapers hands.

Unlisted Vendor
IPV3 Li is one of the best mods you will ever get. However, if you are looking for a more affordable option, then Kratos Mod is a very decent option.
Please note that it is not available at the moment, but it will be available very soon.

I love my Li, but the Evic is super convenient and really capable especially for tank use. I bought the Evic mod itself and its on TC tank duty with a Smok TCT. Excellent vape setup for the money. Killer flavor, cloud volume, & ultra portable for my usage.

When you say its great with a tank...is it not so great with a dripper?

That depends on your specific vape preferences. I never run anything non-TC under 60 watts. That's just my personal preference. If I drip I want a warmer vape if using Kanthal/NiChrome/GPlat etc.

If you use drippers under 60w then it should be fine for your needs. I would not recommend running any mod max wattage all the time. It would probably be fine but I just don't like stressing any things limits constantly.

When I drip I use my Li or an unregulated box mod depending on what I'm feeling like.

I'm probably not alone but I'm a proponent of overbuying when it comes to power if you are going to have a single mod. You can always lower the wattage of a higher power device but not so much with a lower wattage device. You have a ceiling there obviously. I like having options and am ok with sacrificing a larger form factor at times. Again, it's all what's the most important to you and personal use preference.

I tried the the sub box mini by Kangerteck, and i like it very much, and i got it with a good deal from csvape.com
check those guys, you might find what you are looking for.

I recently had two very bad experiences with joyetech ego ones, but I hear great things about the evic as well.

I vape on an eleaf istick. Durable, small, and sleeves are available.

The Evic actually comes with a sleeve in the kit or the standalone mod packaging. Pretty nifty at the price point.
