Has Anyone Tried Vapetrik and/or MT. Baker Vapor?

I'm looking into getting some flavors from each, and wonder how people like them.
MT. Baker is especially appealing to me because of their "Flavor Shot" system.
I vape to curb my sweet tooth, so I'm after juices with a really, really potent flavor.

If you've ever tried either company before, let me know what you thought of them!
Everything from customer service, prices, shipping, juice flavors, etc.

Thanks! :D

I, too, love more potent flavor. Out of your listings, I have only tried MB.

I ordered their Butter Scotch and Moo Juice with 3 extra shots each, did not like it that much. While they weren't completely unvapable, flavors were muted and weak. What bothers me the most is that they have that crude oil-like finish that never really goes away even after more than a week of steeping. Good thing is that their shipping is very, very fast. I put in the order on Saturday, and Monday they were already in my mail box. And then an extra bottle of juice plus 10% off anything coupon they always send you.

The other cheap, heavily advertised vender I have tried is Vista Vapors, now that is unvapable for me.

YMMV

Mt. Baker is a good place to deal with.

But my favorite place is Bulk E-Juice.

If you want to tame your sweet tooth, try the BEJ Romance (chocolate covered strawberry) or Chocolate covered Cherries. The Vanilla flavors are also quite good.

Mt. Baker has some decent e-liquid IMHO. Nothing to write home to mom about, but decent quality stuff. They're also cheap and have fast shipping. Never ordered from Vapetrik. I've heard from a number of sources that the e-liquid sucks, and considering that it's Rip Tripper's brand, that doesn't surprise me.

I never tried Vapetrik, but I have with MtBaker Vapor. I have purchased the following from them:

Amaretto - I got it maxVG and I learned I can't taste anything but VG if 80VG or higher.
Apfelstrudel - Steep this one since Apple is too strong before. Otherwise ok.
Coffee
Hazelnut Coffee (both coffees see below)
Jamaican Rum - just ok
Maui Sunrise - horrible exhale before steeping, after steeping it is ok
Mimosa - just ok

Both coffees I loved if freshly made. I had no idea what they tasted like past 2 weeks since my bottles would be empty by then. I got smart I thought by buying an 8oz bottle of Hazelnut Coffee. I learned that these coffees are really clear if freshly made. Then by three weeks they are super dark. And I can tell how fresh they are by looking at their color. That 8oz bottle was already aged 2 1/2 weeks by the looks of it. After 2 weeks old these e-juices taste horrible. Sort of like mud. Those other e-juices are just ok after steeping.

One of my favorites is VapeJoose. I have purchased 9 e-juices from them so far and I didn't dislike any of them. They taste like very high quality juice, packaged in glass bottles, and packed like they are fine wine. And if that isn't enough, at very low prices. And every 10th order (min postage is $3, so $30 worth of postage) you get a free 120ml of your favorite juice. I also tried to find somebody who didn't like one of their e-juices. So far I haven't found anybody.

YetiVape is another one I like. Although premium juices at premium prices. Although every two bottles, the third one is free makes it more reasonable.

UncleRJ: Thanks for the tip about Bulk E-Juice. I'll check them out.

IME some of mt baker is decent quality, but after finding better quality "premium" liquids I realized just how bad they were.

None of their flavors really stand out to me. Some have the perfume taste/smell, some are decent but kind of bland as in just a basic one note flavor. I spent nearly $1000 in a year or so trying liquids and found some that were vapable, many that weren't gross but not for me, lots that were gross, a few that were disgusting. Moo juice and sweet cream have this horrible fake butter popcorn taste.

They have good prices, but no good recipes. Just basic one note flavors or gross perfumey concoctions for the most part. They use all flavor west flavorings from what I've read.

I would spend a little more and go try some premium liquids at a vape shop that carries many brands. There's a huge difference, but then again, some people love mt baker. I don't know if its because they haven't tried anything good or what.

Oh, I also noticed this weird mouth feel after a while of vaping MBV, never got it with other brands.

Mt baker kicks ass. However, that comes with a few caveats... Some of their juices are good right out of the bottle, some of em I won't even look at until they've sat for 3 weeks. It's up to you to find out...

The best way to play it is to order a bunch of 15ml bottles of flavors you think you'll like. I always order 50/50 pg/vg, 6mg nic, 2 flavor shots. The times I have strayed from that the juices were not up to par.

Try all the juices when you get em. If they're ok, then vape away. If not, put em in the dark and revisit in a week... Still nasty? Try again in another week... And so on and so forth until they're good. Doing that I have yet to find one I couldn't vape.

I use their flavorings to make my own juices, but haven't tried their liquids. My only objection thus far is the fact that their flavoring labels state there is nicotine in the ingredients. Almost never got the chat rep to understand that if there was nic in the flavoring, I wanted to know what percentage as I was adding my own nic to make the juice. Had to upload a picture of the label to prove that it read nicotine as an ingredient of the flavoring. Was told it was a standard label they put on all their bottles....not cool if you're using precise measurements in your DIY and watching your nicotine consumption.

Thanks, man!

I actually ordered a few juices from Giant Vapes today.
 1. "Boosted" by Boosted Ejuice
 2. "Mother's Milk" by Suicide Bunny
 3. "Mr. Cookie" by G2 Vapor
$60 shipped for a total of 90ml of juice doesn't seem too bad.
Hopefully they don't all taste like ass or something, lol. The reviews are all highly positive though.

A buddy of mine that I got into Vaping to quit smoking is hooked on "Supernova" by Cyber Liquids.
It's supposed to taste like a pink Starburst candy, but I think it tastes like crap, lol.
Taste is of course, very subjective though. :p

I keep coming back to wanting to try some flavors from MBV, but then I just... don't.
A lot of people say their flavors aren't good, so it makes me too hesitant to pull the trigger on some.
What I really want to do is start making my own, using HeadInClouds' recipes!
The problem there is I'm confused on how to measure out the ingredient percentages for said recipes.

If you want to try mt baker then try a few 15ml bottles of the most popular stuff they sell. To me most of it is gross or just low quality, but you may like it like others do. Never going to know unless you try it, just don't spend a lot trying everything they have. Check your local vape shops, there's actually one by me that carries mt baker liquids.

A lot of my juice is from Mt Baker Vapor. 25 flavors and liked most of them. My favorites are Cheesecake, Grape, Blueberry, and Vanilla Ice Cream. Always get max VG with 5 flavor shots. Most flavors I try as soon as I get them and like them right away. So far the only 2 I thought were actually bad are Wintergreen and Pina Colada. Both have the same odd taste to them but the wintergreen was still vapable. Was a few others that I just didn't like the taste of (like Spew), but that is just flavor preference.

Since starting vaping in September, I have ordered:
Cin City, Wintergreen, Vanilla Ice Cream, Blood Orange, Dutch Apple Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Cheesecake, Strawberry, Blueberry, Black Cherry, Maui Sunrise, Apfelstrudel, Honey Berries, Spurberry, Spring Break, Caramel Candy, Pina Colada, Cotton Candy, Grape, Bubble Gum, Mimosa.

When they gave out 15ml freebies I got: Banana, Courmarin Pipe (haven't tried yet, might tonight), and Jungle Juice (menthol was WAY to strong when it was new, haven't used it since then. Am going to try it tonight since it's been sitting for at least 3 months)
Since starting the 5ml freebies I have received: Spew (didn't like the flavor), Oatmeal treats (haven't tried yet), and Vanilla Ice Cream (which stupidly came with an order that included a 235ml of vanilla ice cream)

Before last November they gave a free random 15ml bottle with every order in the same nic level that you ordered juice in.
It's a shame they downsized it to a 0nic 5ml, but at least you have somewhat of a choice of flavor now.

BTW, you can get 10% off any order by using the coupon code vaporfrombaker
Pretty sure it's a permanent code that never expires since they toss a few business cards with that code into every order, I assume hoping that you hand them out to friends/family. Two other 10% off coupon codes that seem to be permanent are save10now and BestClearomizer.

I've had a few MBV juices and found them on the harsh, one-note side. Totally vapable though if mixed with something else, for me. Not that they pretend to be much more than a bottle-to-bottle operation, I guess. I know a lot of folks like them.

But if you're going to order online anyway, there's a small place in Wisconsin I stumbled on called Madtown Vapors cause I'm from a city called "Cambridge" in one state, and this place is in Cambridge, WI--I thought they we4re in my city. It's just a B&M with a website, but Dino's juice has been consistently above par--sometimes way above par, IMO--and the customer service is tops. This guy will go the extra mile. Also, the price is $5 per 15ml, 9-ish for 30ml--and you get a free 15ml bottle if you spend more than $8. Also a lot of free shipping going on.

Here endeth unrepentant shilling.
BTW, before you ask, I stand to gain nothing here, no affiliation other than as customer, blah, blah. Just trying to spread the good news :)

Mt. Baker is my go to, and I've tried a decent amount of juices from other companies.
At the moment I have afternoon delight, admiral berry crunch, faux hawk, gmen, thug juice, maui sunrise, and apfelstrudel.

My advs from them are afternoon delight, hawk sauce, blueberry, and maui sunrise.
Admiral berry tastes exactly like berry Cap'n crunch cereal
Apfel strudel tastes exactly like apples with cinnamon on it.
Maui sunrise is a juice I'm not sure about but it tastes candy like to me and I absolutely love it.

The only flavor I absolutely hate is rainbow sherbet. It smells exactly like the ice cream. But upon dripping it had the worst lime flavor ever. I had to rewick and clean my atty out for a while to rid it of that flavor.

but overall I've enjoyed my time with mt baker. They have very good juice, shipping times, and a great selection.

Just make sure you steep it because it's made when you order it. Most of the juices seem to taste good right away, though they obviously get better in a few weeks. But some, like my rainbow sherbet taste horrid, I'm hoping it will get better in a month.

Has anyone ever tried https://www.thevapeshack808.com/
I'm always on the look out for new juice at a reasonable price. I am hooked on Unicorn Milk but can't afford the 2 30 mil bottles I go through every week.
I came really close to trying them when I saw that little green truck logo next to all their juice offerings---usually indicating free shipping. Turns out it's free shipping above 50 bucks or something. I went with ITCVapes.com , based in NY somewhere. I was happy with the results, shpping, CS and prices are great. My only issue is that all the juices seem to have something in them that makes them similar to one another. It may be ethyl maltol, I am guessing, because they all kind of went flat (what I had left of them) after about 4 months. I made a large order in the fall and what I have left is still vapable, but just.... everything kind of merged together, flavorwise, and now instead of the delicate complex blends they were, they are each kind of a generalized flavor-mash. Hard to describe, but I suspect SOME additive at play.
Very yummy though--especially Spoon Licker V2, a strawberry cake batter thing. Oh, and Jack-o-Lantern Juice, a pumpkin cheesecake, was very nice after a longish steep--3 weeks.

Edit: Just wanted to add that they were great with customer service at ITCvapes. Several of my bottles arrived about half full due to USPS handling and they replaced them no questions asked.

Someone is getting mighty defensive there...

I've done the same things you say you do as far as trying fresh, steeping, trying months later. 90% of their juice tastes like crap to me. 10% were vapeable until I found and tried "premium" liquids, now I realize there are liquids out there that are actually really good and clean. Stuff where you actually get that holy shit moment. But everyone does like something different, I'm sure there's people that hate the stuff I love.

The biggest reason I won't vape MBV at all anymore is the base they use. After a while it starts coating my mouth with something strange. Actually, other people can notice it when kissing long before it builds up enough for me to start noticing it. Doesn't happen with the other liquids I vape.

I received my MBV vape mail yesterday and tried 3 of the 5 flavors ordered. Strawberry / kiwi was good out of the bottle, nice flavor. Grappler (really needs steeping, so that's what it's doing), and Cucumber mint, pretty good, nice subtle flavor. I will be trying Orange Dream Bar today as well as Ocean Breeze.

In all honesty, I'm hoping I have another vapemail package waiting for me this afternoon from Hurricane Vapors!!! I order 60ml of my favorite Mango Milkshake as well as 4 other flavors to try out.

The bakery, sweet and menthols MBV does excel at.

This is the boat I'm in as well.

Yeah, I've found a few diamonds in the rough. There are some decent, inexpensive e-liquids out there. Dr. Crimmy's is a fine example. But for me, the real premium e-liquids are the ones I enjoy the most. Companies who source natural extracts instead of buying bottled flavorings from someone else. I don't mind paying $20+ per bottle for the good stuff. But, taste and value are always subjective.

I wasn't being defensive, I was simply saying what may be good for one person may not be good for everyone else in the world. Vaping is very personal and very subjective.

To be honest, I have only LOVED about 15% of the juice I've tried from mt. Baker. The rest were merely "vapable". Nothing to get excited about. Sounds like a pretty sorry track record, right? The thing I like about them is that you can experiment and find you own personal "gems", then buy in bulk!

I enjoy premium or boutique e-liquids just as much as the next guy. However, I am not independently wealthy. I also downright, flatly refuse to pay MORE for this shit than I did to smoke cigarettes. No way - ain't gonna happen.

So... I allow myself a premium 30ml bottle here and there, and rely on my personal gems from the less expensive companies to get me by.

To each their own. The most important thing is that we've ditched the stank sticks.

You're definitely right, a lot of people do like their liquid. They wouldn't be as big as they are if they didn't. Price is a big factory, I ust think there's better options out the for at least a little more money.

I do think MBV is a great company. They don't pretend to be anything they're not and they offer a lot of options, which is great if people like their stuff. They have great customer service, prices, and fast shipping. I wish I liked their juices, but I personally prefer more natural tasting complex flavored liquids.

I hear you on being more expensive than smoking. I've decided to try making my own to create the complex stuff I like at a great price. Time will tell if I'll be able to make that happen though. After trying the good stuff I just can't stomache the low end stuff anymore.

DIY is definitely hit and miss. I've made a few that went straight down the sink, I've made some that I fell in love with. But after the initial cost of getting supplies together, it costs me less than a buck to make a 15ml bottle, not $12-15 + shipping. It's well worth the cost to get started. ;)

I love Affordable Vaping. 30 ml is about 5 bucks and 50 ml for 9 and change. Their juice is great. The thing I like about it is that all their juices are clear. Makes it easy on the coils. Some of my Aspire coils last a month or more and I am a heavy vaper. Jackie and her husband who own Affordable Vaping also let you pick DIY for them to make. I do that and the juice is excellent. The juice is always super fresh as they make it per order. Give them a try if you like. I think they are better than Mt. Baker Vapor which I used to use until I found Affordable Vaping.

I like Vapewild. My shipment from them should be arriving tomorrow, and from all the reviews I've seen, I think they are better than MBV. They are so much cheaper too. 2.99 for 10ml bottles, guess how much a 480 ml bottles cost, 60. They do free shipping for orders over 25 dollars too. I really think they are one of the best right now.

I LOVE Mt Baker Vapor's Juice. I HATE that I can't vape them for up to 3-4 weeks due to"steeping"...

I found a new place that makes custom blended high end ejuice and they use a high speed shaker & ultrasonic steeping method FREE on all orders. I have about 18 of there flavors in my collection. Every puff is packed full of true flavor. I LOVE this place. Check them out. Worth it!

I can't speak for MBV since I haven't tried them; but, Vapetrik juices are bold and extremely flavorful. It's like they were made for the older cartotank/clearo user in mind. Do yourself a favor and try one of Rip's juices.

I tried MBV and was not impressed at all. The flavors were harsh and very mute. Even with a flavor shot. I picked up 5 for my nautilus at 12 nic and I can't use any of them. I picked up one at 3 nic for my dripper and that's a decent flavor.

Well, their juices are made per order, so they need to steep when you get them - some for weeks - when I buy something, I want to be able to enjoy it when I get it. That's kinda like buying your pants two sizes too small because you're dieting...lol! I appreciate the fact that it's fresh, but the ready-to-vape juices haven't killed me yet. ;)

I have steeped the majority of them for a week and a half. Still harsh and and muted flavor.

They aren't my favorite, although they do have their stars. The Cinnatoast Munch is a spot on match to Cinnatoast Crunch cereal. The French Toast is good, but that's another that needs to steep for 3-4 weeks. Their flavoring is so-so, at best, but I ordered tons of it when I first started DIY and now I'm just trying to use it up, doubling some of the flavors to semi-match FA. Not my first option for juices or flavors.

I have ordered several from Vapetrik. I like dorky stud but have to let it air out for 4-6 hours and steep a day or 2. Nanas cream is good but super thick since its mostly VG. I just got his rainbow nuggets and it was just ok. Idk if I will buy anymore from him..

I tried Mt baker almost a year Ago when I started vaping ....never again. I ordered 15 different juices only 1 was capable for me. the others were various blends that made me think I was trying to lick my jock strap clean. (it was a dare and I was drunk).
In Mt bakers defense, I have an ultra sensitive pallet

Read the reviews also make up your own mind.
The bakery, sweet and menthols MBV does excel at.

@DustinB agree the base is off putting for me also.

I have been pleased overall with MBV. I love their Caramel Candy, Butter Pecan, Honey Berries, Slim Mints and Vanilla Butternut. Their customer service is excellent and at $35 for 236ml, I will continue to order from them.

If you DIY ordering from MBV will tax your funds.
Doing diy that same 35 bucks is about 3000 ml or more.
