Has anyone tried Eclipse yet? I'd love to know what flavor it's supposed to be LOL

If you have the flavors, mix 1.5% or 2% each of FA Tuscan Reserve and Cocoa, add 0.5% of either Spearmint or Anise (or 0.25% each). If you like the general flavor and want a version less prone to scorching, put Eclipse on your shopping list. Eclipse settles into layers before your very eyes, so be sure to shake the heck out of it before (or as!) you measure it out.

:D made some mixes today, HIC sugary almond aplletart, HIC vanilla nut coffee, HIC chai tea latte And the billberry/raspberry mix
 my taste buds are really F* up lol even all the spices in the chai are weak atm  ( also used to vape 50/50 so not used to vaping
max VG like i have to now)

Little question about putting some sweetness in to the bill/rasp mix, what can i use best to do that?
i have marshmellow, torrone, marzipan and meringue

edit :D the flavour mixes itself are awesome @HeadInClouds thank you for sharing all this goodness

The sugary apple almond tart is one of my favourite HIC mixes. As someone else pointed out, it seems a lot of peoples tastebuds and ways of vaping differ strength wise a lot from HICS. Often 1.5x or even doublin gthe percentages may give you more the strength you are after.

Of the HIC mixes I have made the other two I really liked were the prickly pear margarita and lemon something or other that is a mousse, very simple and very nice.

I've been searching for "just the right orange" for over 18 months. I think I'm getting closer.

I am not keen on FA Orange, it is far too weak. I quite like the mandarin. I have tried a couple of UK oranges and tangarines that were ok. However by a golden mile for me the best orange if you are looking for an orange JUICE flavour would be Inaweras Shisha Orange.

I used this in my own adaption of HICs presidents prickly pear margarita and for me, its the perfect orange for cocktail or fruit drink recipes.

OK, getting ready for another FA order, looking at tobaccos again. I know for sure I'm picking up Dark Vapure, Perique black, and a big bottle of desert ship, but I'm at a loss as to what to try next. I'm thinking Virginia and burley, but I need some idears xD

-Kingboomer

P.S. it goes without saying I'm gonna be getting the stuff to make @HeadInClouds 's sore throat helper :D

Ive pretty recently got in to tobacco concentrate mixing, my thoughts on ones I have tried in case you havent, I mixed them all 5% to test bar Soho:

Cuban Supreme: Personally didnt like this at all and found to my tastebuds it to be the exact opposite of HICs description of it. Found it really earthy (literally like vaping earth!) with a leathery cigar after taste. Can see this working well at very low percents in a tobacco recipe but on its own it actually made me feel ill
7 Leaves: Really liked this one and pretty much lived up to the name. I found it one of the more accurate tobacco flavours, very leafy tasting, I could vape this standlone quite happily.
Maxx Blend: Another I could vape standalone but very light on the tobacco flavour. This to me is basically a really nice honey flavour with a subtle RY4 double type backnote. I have used this in recipes as honey rather than the FA Honey which is just too strong for me even just adding drops. A very nice concentrate....but not if you are looking for tobacco
Tuscan Reserve: This is a very close runner to my favourite tobacco concentrate, Stringy like fine Italian cigar tobacco. I would however say it does have quite a florally note. As a standalone I am not mad on it, I do find it too florally, I still did when I tried it in HICs mix with cocoa. But I find this a great tobacco to add to tobacco mixes and also for all kinds of wacky mixes with a tobacco element. One of my favourite vapes is a very simple one using just tuscan reserve, marshmallow and cereal
Soho: My favourite tobacco vape of any vendor. So much so I bought 100ml of this. I see FA recommend 20% as a standalone, I don tthink you even need to go that high. Fresh clean cigarette tobacco with a biscuit like smell and elements of that in the taste with a hint of a nutty taste. To me this is like a true pack of cigarettes with all the chemicals, tar and smokeyness even taken out. The flavour also holds up very well in tobacco recipes, I find myself only using 4-5% of it now as a great base in a tobacco mix, and 8-10% in a soho based recipe.

As a standalone tobacco vape, of those I have tried there is only one winner though...Inawera AM4A. First few vapes on this I was actually dissapointed was just getting smooth pipe tobacco and something else I wasnt sure of, it was nice but plain. But the more I tried the more I liked it and it has so much depth, there is just the smalles knock of flavours Im sure I could just about notice like vanilla, coffee and chocolate. For me this isnt so much a tobacco concentrate, it tastes like an actual top notch vendor tobacco recipe. Highly recommend this one

f you are looking for an orange JUICE flavour would be Inaweras Shisha Orange.
So glad you didn't say Wera Garden, LOL. I have to dilute that to one drop in 5ml, then use THAT as the flavoring. Next time I make that, I bet you can taste it from there.

I do have the Shisha Orange. I thought it was pretty good.

Hey guys,

Got some new orders straight from italy, one of them is hypnotic myst which for some reason I drew to try right away as a standalone (4% seemed right as per some readings).

Anyone mixed anything with hypnotic myst? Its has a VERY intresting note, like the chef was in love when cooking a meal.
Like it a lot actually as it is but something is missing. Cant imagine creams would go well with it, but more like cucumber or perhaps cardamon?

I've been hooked on FA flavorings for awhile now. I've mixed a very nice Strawberry Kiwi flavor with a mix of FA Ripe Strawberry and CAP Sweet Strawberry, and FA Kiwifruit. It's become my personal favorite. I mix things up a bit in my daily vape experience by alternating between the Srawberry Kiwi and one that contains Mango, Cantaloupe and Papaya...all FA flavors. It tastes much like Cuttwood's Mega Melons, but I'm going to change it up a bit by trying to swap out the cantaloupe for honedew, and see how it goes. Altertating both flavors helps bring the other's flavors out more, causing me to always have two tanks with the juices.

Honeydew and cantaloupe are used in cuttwood Monster Mellon. I have made many clones of that mix (All are good Vapes) IMHO

How will this work when purchasing other items? Can we still use the standard 10% cup on as well?

I'm getting ready to order. Still a lot of homework to do. :) I went through all my concentrates and I have a partial shopping list. I know I'm going to get kiwi, Fuji Apple, white peach, Obo Obo if they have it stock, and then I am stuck. Need to do more recipie research.

Anybody try that new FA flavor? Moon'something. I've had mixed results with joy and I am on the fence.

Monsoon? I haven't but HIC seems to really like that one.

So I looks like you can't use two coupons on ecx. Kinda made me sad. But Atleast I got my kiwi FA ordered finally then sad again since they didn't have inwera shishi strawberry.

Can't wait for this order to come in and mix. Thanks again for everyone making my diy experience just awesome.

Hey FlavourArt fans - if you have a sweet tooth and these little pictures look tasty to you, put FA's new Monsoon flavor on your shopping list! Ecigexpress already has it, but I don't see it elsewhere in the US yet.
View attachment 36779 View attachment 36780
That's white cake and candied "tutti fruitty" bits. I taste candied cherries, candied orange peel, and other candied fruits (papaya?) that come and go, hard to identify, but a complex blend of bright candied fruit bits. It's among FA's sweetest flavors. :D

Try 2% or 2.5% standalone for a first mix. As a shake and vape the fruit is strong; after a couple days the fruits mellow and the background white-vanilla cake flavor gains strength. Around 3% standalone the vapor trail gets fragrant, like some kind of fruity incense, so less than 3% pleased me more. I'd call the fruit blend "aromatic" - but there are no flowers here (thank goodness!)

Monsoon is in hot competition with Vienna Cream as my favorite FA standalone flavor. I've been mixing with Monsoon but keep finding I prefer it standalone! YUM!

If you buy flavors based on the manufacture's or vendors' names/descriptions, you'll have to be brave and/or trust me. I would have named it Tutti-Frutty Wedding Cake (it's different fruits than FA's "Tutti-Frutty" flavor, so I see why they didn't).

Just seen this. I mixed it up @ 4% to test (and aurora the same to test tomorrow). Vaping it today. I tasted raspberry like wine gums (wine gums are a uk gummy bear type sweet) and very sweet vanilla. Your description very good, as there is a lot in the background I cant really pick out, but your guesses make sense. Im not getting flowery or aromatic @4%, but almost an exotic wine taste underneath the main flavours(possibly the papaya you are guessing at). Would also agree, this is one of the few concentrates I have tested that I could quite happily vape standalone as its so complex and tasty all on its own…..and I think it may be hard to put in to recipes, especially generic type ones but I can imagine this being great in cake or sweet bakery type flavours as a twist.

So quick question I have enough cash to order maybe five flavors. I already have vanilla classic, fresh cream, caramel, strawberry, bilberry, Vienna cream, tiramisu, cookie, mandarin, marshmallow, vanilla bourbon, and joy (didn't enJOY mixed with strawberry as per recipes, how the hell to use it idk). What 5 flavours should I order and perhaps how to use them?

I already have the tfa graham crust, ap. vbic and ry4 double as well as caps sweet strawberry, sweet cream, butter cream, NY cheese cake, and graham cracker. The white peach coconut and but mix sound great I'm not big on cinnamon tho. How is their custard?

It's a lively little flavor! It's a lightly lemony, creamy flavor. Perks up some fruits, goes GREAT with Lemon Sicily. It's not at all a vanilla custard. I use quite a lot of it. There are a bunch of recipes using the flavors you have, plus the ones I mentioned, in the recipes area.

Really? I bought my flavors based on a few recipes that I read now that I have flavors all the recipes I see call for more lol. I guess its the way it works. Although I've looked at recipes and adapted to what I have not with great results but satisfactory. Could be good with tweaking tho I suppose.

Oh yeah. That's the fun of DIY. If it doesn't work for ya, you can tweak it, sometimes toss it, and many times vape it!!! It's still cheaper and more fun than premade.

Oh probably not the right place but if anyone has tried mbv gwary4 and has anything close or better I'd love the recipe. I have been semi successful in converting my mom to vaping but she's on a ego for now and is stuck on that flavor. I've tried rocketpuppys ry4 I believe but it either needs to steep a while or its just not for her. I personally enjoyed it after a few days.

never toss I'm to cheap for that shit. I wouldn't care if it tasted like 10 day old spaghetti on bread I'd vape it for the pure fact I spent money and time to make it lol.

Am not!! Hey, he asked :D
Well in that case
I was gonna spend anyway, probably more than planned now that Huck intervined lol
Lesson learned never ask us for flavor recommendations or you end up broke with enough flavors to start a snowcone stand

I like it its just all I really seem to taste right away is the ap. After half a 30ml bottle I added a little more of the ry4 double and it seemed better. Maybe because I've only been off the analogs for a little over a month? I really like the gwary4 tho I can't put my fingers on the flavors maybe heavy on the caramel?

I've never had that one, so it's highly possible that's what it is. I know some of the RY blends have more caramel than others, from what I've read.

You must be sensitive to AP, like I am. With the way it's writtenat 0.2%, you can try this trick I got from HIC for other flavors. AP to me is ULTRA MIND BLOWING STRONG. Mix 1ml in 9ml of PG, then use that bottle as your flavoring. Even at that, it's strong to me, I rarely use it, but I'm glad I have it on hand for occasional mixes, like RP's.

I'll give that a try thanks. I had thought of trying to use different flavours suck as cookie to replace it but your suggestion may work better. The ry4 mix tasted almost like the ap smelled Graham crackery cookie fritoishy lol. When mixed fresh any way not sure of the mix but I had only put 2 drops in the 30ml

Yeah it was hard enough to read over 200 pages here I figured the most useful info either transferred or will make an apperence if need be. Or am I wrong and should go read the forgotten text?

Mixing strawberry and billberry? Thoughts and percentages I have a mix I tried with I believe 2 and 1 % respectively and don't seem to taste either.

In comparison, strawberry is very light. I find Bilberry strong at 0.5

Try Strawberry at 4 and see how that is, or even mix a little of your CAP with it.

IMHO these need a few days to come together nicely. I have one now with 2.5% strawberry to 1% billberry, then 1.5% peppermint to sweeten it up some. It takes a bit for these to come in to their own.

Definitely adds a cool touch to it, but sweetens it up nicely for my tastes. IIRC I actually bumped the peppermint down to 1%, just enough to give it a touch of sweet.

I'm overflowing with opinions! Seriously, the 'other' thread is well worth the time required to read it. That thread and the similarly-titled thread here at VU pushed me over the DIY edge. Yeah, it's all their fault! :D

Here's another opinion: Saying 'cookie'to Hucleberried is like shouting 'steak' to a hungry rottweiler, OK, lousy analogy. Huck's too adorable to be compared to a rottweiler.

Welcome to the family, @Khendershot88. We're dysfunctional as hell but lotsa fun!
