Basically ur not gonna get much better life out of ur batteries unless u go higher ohms but the fact that its basically.4 ohms running at 45ish watts id say its time to get new batteries if they are new batteries then u might have cloned "rewrapped" batteries i use the new green samsung 25r on my sig 150 .2 ohms at 75 watts chain vape and i get 1.5 days per set
The LG are brand newish maybe 15 or 20 charges now. The blue batteries I bought from lightning vaper in Feb.
Both sets last the same duration.

The chances that ur batteries r clones is pretty slim just going by the positive posts thats usually where u can tell. Samsung has 3 legs lg and sony have 4 but noone would rewrap a good sony as a lg. With the phms and watts ur running u should have atleast a little more run time then 8 hrs maybe pickup a set of newer cells and see if that gives u the result ur looking for www.liionwholesale.com is a awesome vendor i paid 5.30 each for the new samsung 25r they test a battery for every 5 in a set as they get them to make sure their authentic. Wish i could have more input for ya

Ok this might sound dumb but are there different ohm readers for different material because I'll build something other than kanthal and it'll read a certain number but when I put it on my mod it's completely different almost by half. It even happens with nichrome but not as much as a difference between something like nickel or titanium.

I agree with Otto. I use the old blue 25rs because I bought a butt load when they were on sale for 4 for $20. The thing to remember about them is that their capacity drops to around 1500 mah after 250 cycles. On a fresh pair I go about 81 hours and some change vaping at .15 ohms and 45 to 60 watts.

Thanks for your input. I'll probably pick up some of the green 25r batteries soon, I guess I'll just deal with the short capacity for now.
Next question, I haven't done much research but is there any specific type of charger that treats these batteries in a way that will extend their usable life? I have a nite core d4 now. Not sure if there's any chargers that would actually treat batteries better.
I have this ipv4 with temp control, but apparently kanthal isn't good for temp control from what I read. What material would be best for the temp control? Can I still use my cotton bacon?

Xtar vc4 is a awesome charger ot takes about 3 hrs at 1 amp to fully charge to 18650 and will slowly increase amperage so the battery cells dont take a full hit and possibly put the cells into shock i had my old snow wolf completely drain ky batteries to 0 when it fouled out and it brought the batteries back to life and perform the same as they did when i got them
Theres only 1 mod that can run kanthal on tc but u can use it in power mode and it wont do any harm and u can use any wicking material u like
Right I been using kanthal on the ipv4 in power mode since I received it. I don't have any wire to build a tc coil with, and really do not want to spend money on wire to use a feature that I'm not even sure I'd like. Lol.

In most cases tc mod actually drains batteries a little faster its difficult to get big clouds and the coils them skeves are tricky to get right at first and have to be changed every few days cuz of the softness of nickel u cant rewick without trashing the coil im not sure if the ipv4 supports ti or ss and havent used either 1 personally

When it comes to TC, I'll likely continue to use Ti and Ni200 on the mods that only run Ti and Ni200, but I am sold on SS (I have 200' of 430). It'll rn in TC mode and I can pop it off one mod and on to another to run in VW mode without skipping a beat. Clean taste and easy to rewick and versatile. Can be a little springy, but a VERY gentle torching makes it workable.
I got 200' of 430 so I'm very excited to try it. I upgraded the smok to use Ti and SS it was like 1.50$ all together @shawn.hoefer do I still need to use it 80degrees cooler if I have a SS option in my temp control?

Not on the SMOK. Just select the TC-SS mode, single or dual coil (I'd recommend starting with a single coil), make sure the TCR is set to .00138, and you're ready to rock with some awesome accurate TC!

Good morning I just have to give huge thanks to everyone that has helped me all your suggestions hints whatever it may have been. I appreciate it. I can't even name everyone. This is why I joined the box not so much for the material stuff but to be apart of this the daily hi's helps and hints. The two big things was the first fruit help and the info of Ti and SS I went from changing my nickel coil every other day because they kept tasting a gross salty taste I've had the same Ti coil in for a week and I don't want to change it because it is still so good. All you guys made vaping even better for me I was sort of a newbie and just jumped in with both feet learning as I went but I'm just thankful for all the advice and the conversations.

just got the smok tvf4,,gotta say this thing kicks ass. i bought it because the rba deck ls nice and big to build on ,the replaceable 3 coils and 4 coils are kinda overkill to me ( ithink it came with the 3 coil head and you have to push it up to like 80 watts for it to shine(kills battery and juice) ,dosent make sense when i can build a nice .5 duo and vape happy at 40 or so watts
but the top fill and a nice duo coil build on this is spot on

Yes. This pif group had a very large donation by some really awesome vapers and we were able to create 2 boxes that started at 1 and 15 and run in the same direction so hopefully they never get to the same person at the same time... It's been a great group and we are almost half way
