So, since my husband and I gave up smoking analogs for vaping, we've been pretty much solely using VaporFi for juices, and I'm sad to say that I've wasted at least $30 throwing out juices that were well-reviewed, but didn't do it for me because the throat hit was far too harsh. For example, the watermelon flavor was too harsh, and it seemed like 9 times out of 10, I'd get that dry hit burnt taste. The same thing happened today with their pear flavor. We've been ordering the 50%PG/50%VG blends. I couldn't stomach the watermelon mojito, so I had my husband buy me some juice from a local store last week. He got me the Brewell Vapory's Strawberry Mylk, and I LOVED it. It was so smooth. I don't really care about the throat hit feeling like I'm actually smoking (I was smoking Ultra Lights before switching to vaping), and I noticed the VG content in the Strawberry Mylk was much higher than the PG content. Is there something I'm doing wrong that's causing that dry hit taste in just about every VaporFi liquid I buy? I make sure the cotton in the coil is well soaked before taking a pull, and the wattage on my Kanger Subox Mini is at 16 right now. Any higher than that with the VaporFi liquids, and it feels like I'm inhaling smoke from a house fire. Any help? Are there any other places that offer liquids at reasonable prices that would be closer to the PG/VG content of the Strawberry Mylk? Is that something that only the premium brands do?
