I went to your website (Gumroad) for your Cactus recipes but it wasn't there?
Finally got my Inwarea Cactus and nothing to make.
Can you let us know when they will be available for purchase again? Will be buying a few more while I'm there to show some support for some of the most outstanding vapes I've had due to your recipes.

No, not FA, but their version (TFA?), a "hypnotic" something or other. I honestly can't remember much of any that I got other than the sweet woodruff, but they were little 8mls of oddball flavors I've always wanted to try.
Oh, I got confused, thought you were talking about black tea.

@Mikhask - I just added Kaktus Collection there, down at the bottom. It'll be in the new set tomorrow, too. Thank you!

Thanks HIC,
I'm off to go there now : Too bad a 30% premium on my dollar right now but in the long run I figure I save it by having some great vapes to try.
OMG this is fun.
Thanks again for everything you have contributed to this community.

They had the TFA version of that too' but I've never tried it. I don't think I have any of them, never thought I'd care much for a tea vape.

Hey HIC, I got a great idea. When we purchase your recipes, we should also be able to purchase any missing flavors we need and they should come through with the email and pop out of our printer along with the recipe. With how advanced technology has become this needs to be invented.

lol - I wish! I've always wanted flavor vendors to make scratch-and-sniff cards. I'd pay a little for that; it would save me from buying flavors like the ones I currently have stored faaaar away.

..'cuz you know we'll always be missing one, right? :p
How about coordinating with Mama J's to have them in stock? That would be awesome.

No HIC! I want the bottle of flavors & recipe delivered at the same time! Have a bottle of flavor pop right out! I have other ideas, but I am not sure you'd appreciate them.

I'm sure HIC & Mama coordinate as best they can. There are just too many of us groupies.:D:D

I made 3 HIC recipes today!!! Love them all! I did make the Tiramisu Cream and Tiramisu Cheesecake just to see if I could taste a difference........And I COULD!!! I swear I have the worst taste buds. People will talk on the boards of tasting "this" on the inhale and "that" on the exhale and I'm thinking........"It tasted good but not sure what it was!" lol So, honestly tasting a difference is an accomplishment on its own for me! I also made Heart of the Andes and am totally loving that one! Probably my favorite of the 3!

Thanks again, HIC for getting me so excited about DIY!!!

Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm! It's really great to read about which flavors get DIYers motivated. For me it was peppermint, realizing it was simple to do something even better than vendor liquids. Tiramisu is sure among FA's best flavors (one would hope so, with an Italian brand), usually one everyone can taste well, too.

I am another newbie both here and to DIY. I mixed my first two bottles on Saturday one HIC's Sugary Almond-Apple Tart and Tiramisu Cheesecake.
I love both. :)

I do have a question though on the SAAT. I want to try a couple of the variations but I want to mix Brandy and Jamaican Rum separately to use as a topper rather than mixing it in with the SAAT. Could someone please tell me what % to use to make the standalone Brandy and JR??

Like I said I am very very new to this.

Jamaican Rum is full-strength around 3%, and it tastes about the same right after you mix it as it will days/weeks later.
Brandy is really strong and boozy at first but mellows over the first couple days. I'd say it's full-strength around 2%.
If I were going to vape rum+brandy right after mixing, I'd make 3% Rum plus Brandy at 0.5% or 1%. If I figured it would sit a couple days before I vaped it, I'd use 1% or 1.5% Brandy.

I assume you mean you have a botte of Sugary Almond-Apple tart already mixed and ready to vape (your desired nic, VG, PG already added). And you want a bottle of boozy-stuff mixed and ready to vape. (So you can vape one, or the other, or combine them...) Is that right?

Thank you both.:)
What I want to do is add a few drops of premixed Brandy or Jamaican Rum to already mixed Sugary Almond-Apple tart either in a dripper or a tank for a bit of variety. I don't intend to vape either the rum or brandy by itself, just drip a few drops into the sugary almond tart or possible other flavors now and then. :)
I don't want separate bottles of different varieties of the sugary almond apple tart sitting in the drawer, I want one bottle of sugary almond apple tart and different flavors already mixed to drop on top depending on my mood. :)

(I'm not being intentionally dense, just comes naturally sometimes.) So you mean you want the boozy "topper" to be undiluted, full-strength flavoring? If that's the case, the ratio of rum:brandy is totally up to personal preference. I'd use about 2/3 rum to 1/3 brandy, because I like sweet stuff. Then you could fill a tank with Tarts and swirl in a couple drops of this brandy-rum when you want. Did I understand this time?

:)You aren't being dense, I have trouble putting my thoughts into words. Lets see if I can make this easier to understand.

I have a bottle of SAAT all made up and I want a bottle of Brandy, lets forget the Rum for now, that is mixed to use to mix in a dripper or tank with the SAAT just for one tankful or dripperful. I don't want to vape the Brandy alone I want to use a mixed PG/VG/nic, single flavor (Brandy) to put drops of into a RDA or tank that already has SAAT in it. I don't want to mix the Brandy or Rum with each other at all.
I was wondering what % of concentrated flavoring to use to mix the Brandy when adding the PG/VG/ nic. I don't want to drip undiluted concentrated flavoring right into the SAAT.

For now I have mixed it at 10% figuring if it is too strong I just don't use as many drops. I've never mixed before at all and I have no idea what % to use to mix a single flavor mix, and I know different brands of flavorings are stronger than others.

:)

gotcha! Post #1036 is the one to read. Yes, 10% is too strong, but you can just use add it to your Tarts with a light hand. What you call "single flavor mix" is also called "standalone percent". Most FlavorArt flavors are good standalone around 3% (less for coffees, more for some fruits).

...I wonder how a mix of Gooey Coconut Cookies and Key Lime Ice Cream would taste.
Key Lime in the Gooey Coconut?
Brother bought a coconut
He bought it for a dime.
His sister had another one *
She trade it for the lime.

She put the lime in the coconut
she VAPED them both up.

Sounds tasty, give it a go...
I did accidently dump 1/2 tanks worth of blueberry GOC into gooey coconut and was mighty tasty as expected... haven't really ever added anything on purpose to GOC that wasn't pretty tasty...

GRAPEFRUIT CITRUS SHERBET

I mixed up your citrus grapefruit sherbet as well as your vanilla silk pudding. I knew I had to wait a day to try the vanilla silk pudding so I immediately filled up my tank with the sherbet. Day #1. Thoughts...it tastes amazingly like rainbow sherbet w/o the raspberry, extremely light grapefruit on exhale. Nice and tangy, not bitter. It's sweet too. Day #2. The grapefruit flavor began shinning through more. I had to hurry up and Vape so I could clean, re wick and try the vanilla silk pudding.

NOW VANILLA SILK PUDDING...

Does it have to be a full day? It's been 18 hours?

Ah, crap, a FULL day!? And high vg. for maximum sweetness. I mixed at 50/50. I will mix again at high vg. and comment tomorrow evening as I have appointments all tomorrow morning & afternoon. I will comment on both variations made with different vg. levels.

I will say this right now though, ( It will make me sound like a backwoods hick, but I don't care!) my Vanilla Silk Pudding and I are "IN LOVE/ LUST"! We need some time alone before we talk about our relationship publicly.
