Just my thoughts but I think the only people that will be calling this a clone are people that paid 200 for the same mod. Chinese companies use other companies to make their mods under agreements not to sell them theirselves but once that agreement runs out the flood gate opens. Happen before like the vamo.

People need to realize that the $47 one at GB or the $60 one at FT definetily Don't have the same chip or features as the original $200 SX Mini M Class from YIHI! There is no Joules Temp Control System for onr thing!

It is not the sx350 chip. In regards to the 350j, we will find out as soon as my sxmini clone gets here from Gearbest. I will be replacing the chip with the 350j chip.

I dont know personally about the clone from Fasttech. I inquired with Gearbest, they notified me that the chip in their clone is not the sx350. I am not sure if Fasttech's clone manufacturer for the sxmini is Winsmoke.

Sx 350 's' class chip retails around 72$
The mod is 61$
Ummmmm, something tells me its not an actual yihisx350. Yes if they bought in bulk they could have gotten a discount but factoring in cost of buttons; 510, mfg cost of other parts I highly doubt it was that good a deal to make it a cost effective viable business option.
Now, it could still be a very nice mod, and hope that it is! But im just highly doubtful of the boards origin is all im saying.
I would be in if it had adjustable or spring loaded 510. Most of my toppers have adjustable 510 pin but some don't and a big pet peeve is a topper that doesn't sit flush.
Maybe the 510 can be swapped out with a fat daddy 510? Not sure, I'll watch from the sidelines to see.

It would be the same premise behind any clone. It's manufactured at a fraction of the cost, to capitalize on the popularity of the device. The quality of the chip and device has yet to be determined. We don't know at this point how these clones function in coorelation to the authentics.
well it depends on if your hoping for an S class or M class clone.
The S class does not TC so if you dont care about that then you are hoping to get a clone that has a chip in it as good as the yihi chip in the S class and have it be as durable and comfortable in your hands as the S class
But the big advantage to an exact clone of the S class is this
fitting an authentic YIHI 350J board ( the board in the M class, with TC) in to it. Then you can basically build an M class clone yourself (which are not quite available yet) for about half the price of an authentic M class

Precisely, and I was hoping for this myself. Then saw the yet to be released IPV D2. Which may be basically just that. Now what the final specs are and which board they are calling "THE LATEST YIHI" only time will tell on this mod. But this has the potential to be the m class killer if done right

I'm curious to see if that chip does fit in these, yihi made the 'ml class like 2-3mm taller, I hope that was purely aesthetics and not to fit the board .

I chickened out and cancelled my order. Especially when GB sent me an email telling me that the mod has been pulled because "it didn't match the specs that the vendor originally gave". I mean when a Chinese company TELLS you that something is crap "red alert! red alert!" LOL For those that get them, I hope they are good. If they are, I will order one but no spring loaded 510 was enough to give me pause. The manufacturer fibbing on the specs....just couldn't go through with it.
I got my email from them yesterday. They said they pulled it for not being as advertised in 3 things.

3.Upgrade to 120w

Just wasn't gonna take the chance on something that came off to me as really "sketchy". Maybe I'm paranoid, but I've had many other bad experiences preordering stuff like that. Please all share your reviews once you get them

Ouch..sorry to hear that. Something told me that the reasons GB gave wouldn't have been reason enough to pull it. The supposed fact that it was going to be upgradeable and what the hell is a "gravity induction function"? Maybe I missed it..but I never read about any of that stuff nor was I expecting it. I was just hoping that it would be 60 watts...somewhat accurate with those watts...and look like an SX mini. Hopefully again, I'm wrong for everybody else's sake that ordered them.
