What concerns me is the batteries in that picture. I may be wrong but they sure look like the 10 amp batteries that came in my 15 watt evic. If the manufacture is picturing these in a 200 watt mod. I don't think I have much faith in the safety of the device
Let us know, what you think. TIA.I'm in to play guinne pig! Reminds me of a variant a little bit. Quite frankly I'm in mainly for battery life on long trips

Or electronics to boost the power.20 amp batteries will safely give you ~ 70 watts per battery. So this would definitely need 30 amp batteries to run @ 200 watts.
Just a heads-up, this box appears to be a buck-only, so while it may be able to hit 200W, you will likely have to build it down to the very lowest resistance to get that power, much like the IPV3/Sig 150W. Still, I've been following this mod too. Looks interesting.
Got to be fair. In the video you posted, this fool was using Kanthal wire for temp control. Although his English is still bad. I wish they'd show a dry cotton test.funny guy
I roared with laughter when see your message.Dude makes me not want the mod
As mentioned in post #9, the chip is supposed to be made in the USA.@Neunerball
Agreed It doesn't look like any YiHi chip I have seen before, but if the tc works as decribed it would be a good buy.
Chip being made in USA does not mean it is a better chip. That's just a marketing plan to make it more appealing to the USA market. Not saying the chip is bad just don't get sucked in just because chip is made here. rDNA 40 anyone. As mentioned in post #9, the chip is supposed to be made in the USA.
I hear you! That's why I'm waiting on some reviews (as already mentioned).Chip being made in USA does not mean it is a better chip. Or electronics to boost the power.
It's called a step-up or boost converter. You can only get so much power out of a battery before it becomes dangerous. Circuitry cant magically manufacture power.
Wow that's interesting that would mean sigelei is going with a different vendor for it's chips instead of yihi ( trouble in paradise? ) I thought the two companies were pretty vested with eachother since they both own half of P4U, I wonder if the Slow Wolf is a new iteration of sigelei branching away from YiHi and now they are taking a stab at their own chipsets. this will be interesting to see, I wonder how it will turn out.It now appears that whatever this mystery chip is, the upcoming Sigelei 75W may also use it.

Definitely the same screen design as the Snow Wolf:
