I already told ya what I think. Cool in the extreme! Drip tip looks fab, I don't see any reason to replace it, as long as you like the way it vapes!

Anyone else here buy that Vert mod from AReliquid? Mine is not the one they have pictured on their website and the switch on mine is messed up. Not to mention they did not include everything with the RDA's but I could care less about the RDA squonk pins as I can find some somewhere but the mod I am extremely mad about. Theirs shows the gold etching on the black rings and mine are solid black. The little silver ball inside the switch that is supposed to unscrew? Ya, well mine is seized up so everything just spins. I hope AR makes it right. Sorry for my venting, I only was wondering if anyone else here bought anything from them.

I bought a Unicorn Big Logo 3 in 1. It’s not for using now, though. But for $30 for a mod and RDA, I figured why not.

Not to seem you don't know, but to cover bases, you are grabbing it from where I marked it blue right?
Grabbing it and trying to remove the switch from where the engraving is... well will just spin for days, since that ring is like the top one, held in place by O-Rings...

I have an MDX 3in1 on the way. That's the first mod I've gotten from them, but everything else has been exactly what I ordered.
I ordered that too in copper. It looked nice, and the sale price was great!
I just watched Bogan's video where he deals with the switch. I'm not understanding which part won't come off for you.

Mine is matte black brass with the matte black copper knurled stack piece.
Wowza! Mine is just shiny copper. I would’ve gotten black but all of the sale ones were sold out. With an Axial, it came out to $40 plus shipping. So pretty good deal!

My Limited Edition Legend arrived today. This mod is definitely lighter than my other Legend. Gonna enjoy it tonight and put it away in the vape stash for future use. What a damn good deal at $22 bucks and some change, I paid double that for my other one.
I did not see why you want to take off the contact for?
And you are holding the button in place when wanting to take off the slotted contact pin?

Okay 3 pictures. Look at the last picture, on the left you see that small round silver ball in there? Ya, it is supposed to unscrew and in there is another spring. Well, mine does not unscrew. There is something messed up with it. I was hoping to get to that other spring to see I could adjust it as the switch does not make contact to the battery consistently. I appreciate you guys trying to help. I honestly do not think it is me. I think the switch is janky.

There is nothing to really grip onto. I can push the silver ball up which will cause the white delrin piece to stick out but that does not help as the whole silver circle you see in this pictures just turns with the screw. I know there is no way it is supposed to be like that. It is as if the silver ball got assembled in there crooked, so now you can't get it out. Anyway, I'm done with the stupid thing tonight. Thank you guys for trying. If they respond to my emails then great and if they don't they can go F themselves and I will post it everywhere I can. Chances are they are closing out and wont give a rats ass anyway. Just infuriating is all.

From me watching a few videos on this mod... The self adjustment part of the constant contact switch doesn't have much travel to make up the slop of different length 510s... unscrewing the round contact point wouldn't solve it, since its not a point of adjustment, meaning its all the way on, or loose, and loose shouldn't be what you want.
Now additionally, as noted some 510s are longer... same with batteries, even batches of the same 30T can have a variance of length, just can't exceed certain dimensions...
Just measured 2 with my calipers and one is 21.04mm and 21.14mm and lengths were 70.08mm and another was 70.21mm
Don't own 40Ts but there is variance in cell to cell... same with 18650s... My P26As are probably all different, especially in comparison to VTC5As... which are longer... but anyhoo.
Not sure what battery you're using, but with how little travel the constant contact switch has to make up slop, it may just be your battery...
Totally spit ballin, trying to come up with the solution.
Moving that contact thinking it will extend into the clutch, and move everything to make up the distance isn't going to happen...
The ball pin thing is under and all adjusting that pin will do, is change the firmness of the button... not the design of or distance of the slop adjustment

I just recieved the same one you did Deb, with the matte black rings, just yesterday actually. I'm having the same issue. The screw went in so it obviously can come out. I took a rubber band and pushed the inner contact up and cannot for the life of me get the screw loose. It must have been overtightened or misthreaded. So the question is, how do we get it loose without fucking up the button?
Here is a shorter version...
Mod doesn't have the greatest self adjustment
Atty of choice (510 length(Threaded+Pin)) + Battery must be within that adjustment range
IF Atty chosen+ battery Chosen = not firing, safe to say that combo is a no go...
Moving forward, Try a different battery... if still no go, try another, if still no go, try a different atty If all changes are still a no go, there is one last thing you can do, and that is extend the 510 pin, by backing it out just a smidge... far enough to get a small oring in there and then tighten the 510 pin over the oring... remove excess oring, 510 will then be extended, and sometimes 1mm is all you need

It's a great tube. Takes 2*700's and if you paid $30 like the brass kit they have left, you got one of the best deals I've ever seen on a tube/atty kit. Congrats!

Oh gawd I am SO sorry you have it too. I think they are selling off old stock possibly and it pisses me off as there is something wrong with these. the only reason I want to get the screw out is to get to that spring inside there to see if something is wrong on that end. Yep I do think it was misthreaded and I think we are never gonna get it out. I am pretty much done with the fng thing for tonight. Somehow I don't think they are gonna reply to my email either. I think they are trying to clear out what old stuff they have but I could be wrong and we will see. I hate that you got one too but at least I know I'm not losing my mind here
Thanks, that’s like the one I got. I thought the copper looked nice. I went there to get another Axial and another Unicorn, so I figured I’d get that kit and an Axial. It was $40 for both!

But, I do have plenty of mods so you know what. I'm not going to keep stressing over this as it's not worth it. I will probably stew on it for the rest of tonight and then that's it. Could be the case as I haven't paid enough attention to the Vert (until the latest sale price) to know if any previous versions had the matte black rings? Thing is, it'll prob vape like a champ but I want to be able to access every nook an cranny for maintenance. I'll be very interested to see how your situation unfolds and likewise will keep you updated if I have any luck.

Wow so we have the "newer" version. I haven't set mine up yet. That sucks it doesn't fire constantly, that clutch/quad plate system seemed like it would always hit the screw. Hmmmmm. Thanks for the heads up I'll stop trying to rip mine apart lol

Okay fine, I suppose if I have to live with it that way then so be it but if I had KNOWN that it would be like that, I would not have bought the thing. Oh well if it can work with these 20700's it's doable

Yay, I hope you get it straightened out!
I don't know how that can be unless they totally redesigned the contact piece in the switch for the expressed purpose of making it unserviceable. I hope that's not the case or I wouldn't have bought mine. Even that cheap.
EDIT: Oh wait. It's past my bedtime. Mine is an MDX. Different switch.
