Yesterday I mixed up a new recipe and took two stabs at building an RBA for the iJoy Mercury. I am getting odd results from the RBA and ended up putting the factory coil back in.

The deck on that RBA is so tiny and the cover so tight, I guess I must have something touching that shouldn't be. The second try worked better than the first, but after firing two or three times, I get a blinking red light that essentially says a short occurred. Power the AIO off and back on, the error clears and I can take a couple of drags off it, then the error comes back.

Also it is not wicking well, so twice I got a throat full of burnt cotton, which was wretched. Either I will have to buy factory coils for forever with these units, or I'm going to have to figure out how to build and wick this fucker. I almost wish I didn't like vaping it as much as I do. I want to continue to use it. So I guess a few more tries won't hurt anything and could very well help. It's discouraging, though.

Checked tracking on a mod I ordered. Placed the order on Tuesday. It shipped on Friday from Hong Kong, and arrived in Cincinnati yesterday (Saturday) morning. I should have it tomorrow.
That's the fastest I've ever had anything come out of the Chinese region.

Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

did you pay better shipping ? i got one DHL in less than 3 days.

Ugh, woke up and threw a fresh 30T in my Ant......made my way into the kitchen to start my morning brew while puffing away. Coffee brewing, good start, take a pull....let go of the button and it keeps firing.....hit the button a couple of times and it's still firing. Unscrew the atty then unscrew the battery contact.

It's funny, I'm experienced with mechs and had this happen before like so many others, even though you know you have time and know what to do, it still gets your heart rate up as you go through the steps,
I'm awake now and haven't even had a sip of my coffee. Vaping on my Armageddon squonk, will adjust the contact on the Ant later. This isn't the mods fault, I bent the button contact slightly while watching a movie last night in an effort to get a shorter throw.

so, did something "cause' you to get CT ?

About 26 yrs of being a food server/bartender. Years of being on the computer. Just repetitious movements for years on end. I figure I got off easy. Today's generation with their smart phones and such will be suffering by 30 yrs of age. If anything it shows if you don't take care of your body, your body doesn't take care of you. lol

My text-crazed youngest daughter had both wrists done at about age 30, so you're right on the money. Maybe even sooner than 30 for kids younger than her.

So that is how we are to get our post count up... Gotcha.... ROTFL.... Just kidding...

Sorry to hear of your youngest going through that. I bet it made a world of difference though. I know I can already feel the difference within a few days of the surgery. Only fallback is the time off work. I may struggle a bit until then.

looks Billet Box'ish. when i first saw my BB decks i was like

It literally is the size of an Aspire BVC coil. Maybe 8mm across.

I think third time is the charm. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I went to N80 30ga, 1.5mm, which brought the resistance up some and gave a little extra clearance between the wire and the deck posts. Brought great gobs of cotton out the sides of the RBA so it could pull juice in. Just happened to think a few minutes ago that 50/50 might work better than the 35/65 I normally vape, so will try that a little later.

Unfortunately, the flavor on the RBA is not nearly as good as the factory coil. How many times do you ever hear someone say that? Let's hope as the coil and cotton break in, the flavor gets better. There's also not as much airflow through the RBA.

Didn't realize that happened, but I'll take care of it. :)

This is starting to piss me off. It's time to try the thinner eliquid, I guess, because it still isn't wicking.

Finally FINALLY got this freakin RBA working. Jeez Louise!

Ordered an Aspire Feedlink kit and another iJoy Mercury AIO from VapeNW. I'll give this Mercury to my daughter. She will love it.

Spent the afternoon nursing a damn headache, please y'all keep fingers crossed for me, because grandkids had strep throat last week. I do not need to be sick again.

I had carpal tunnel release surgery on my left hand on Nov. 19th. Had the same surgery on the right hand on Oct. 15th. So while one hand is still getting better the other is just a mess..

I believe it. Already a world of difference as far as sense of touch. Just sucks I feel the pain from the surgery now. Why can't we stay numb for a few weeks after the surgery... lol

Anyhow it is great to hear it was such a success for your wife. One question though. I know 8 years ago we were not having the opioid epidemic, but does everyone have to suffer now after a surgery? I mean ten 50mg Tramadol taken every 6 hours. Not even as strong as Vicodin low dose. I think doctors have gotten crazy over fear of being sued because of addiction. You would think a person in their 40's with zero record of abusing drugs of any kind could handle the responsibility of 10 pills no matter how strong. Oh well. At least I have a comfy bed so I can sleep as much as I can the first week....

Put a new @zephyr alien coil in the KRMA. That is one angry coil! Finally coiled and wicked the new Zion. Considered selling a few mods and RDA's but will wait until work slows down. Bought 2 more Zions and another Armageddon squonker from FVS. Hate that they are closing but loving the clearance prices. Strange that I've moved back to almost all 18650 mods.

Did you post the recipe anywhere? One of the few I did like from VW.
Here ya go buddy. The Bavarian cream can maybe come down a little. I'm not sure. Haven't tried it yet. It's not very specific on which flavorings though. I used TFA everything except it has Cap vanilla whipped cream. And the Bavarian is flavor west.

Lets see here, been out and about all afternoon. Finally got home, jumped into comfy clothes and setup my DVR for all the tv shows I missed the past few days. I got a Stouffer's meat lover lasagna ready to nuke and my vape fully charged and ready for what may be my laziest night in a long time. That's saying a lot since the last month or so has been work free other than chores and such.

Anyhow will be trying out a new flavor I have yet to try. Vazilla by G2 Vapor. Hope it is as good as it sounds. The ratings were top notch and I have to admit waiting 4 weeks to steep like a few suggested was killer. But today is the day to try it out.... :bliss:

I wish I could go back in time like that! So far it only works in my mind or imagination.
Forward in time works. Just fly around space at close to light speed for a while and come back a year later. MANY years would have passed on earth.

going backwards in time not so much.

I did a bunch of pre BF sale looking around. Looked at some recipes to mix.

I did get some vape mail the last few days but I haven’t opened them yet. I know, but it’s been a weird month.
