I'm thinking this unit will tank the rest of the 30-50 watt China made mod market when it come out. 4400Mah is damn impressive. Even if this thing fires a bit hot, I might just get a couple. The iStick 20W is a goto box mod on the cheap at the moment, this 50 watt number will rock!

Depends on price point for sure , i never vape over 20 watts anyway so it's not for me but it should be popular with others.

same here but i just really like the dual 18650 especially with the extra compact nature of the istick. i did a comparison and its nearly the exact same size as the rdna40 which is the perfect size for me. spring loaded pin and hopefully tuned to rms, its gonna be a huge seller to kick off 2015

I'm not so sure how big of a seller it will be if it's priced at $50.00 + , if i am spending that much $$ i may opt for a replaceable battery model . Fixed battery mods for me top out at $40.00 and under but no doubt others feel differently.

If there are more replaceable battery mods in the same price range it will make it a tough choice but there is a big customer base for fixed battery mods so who knows.

id be plesantly surprised if the price is under $50 with the istick kit going for around $35-$40.. maybe just the mod will go for $50 give or take

Looks like they're releasing the 30w and 50w pretty close together. Image below is from a www.vaportekusa.com email ...

looks like this may be something like an istick v2. hope they used rms on this one

i see they moved the 510 back, probably spring loaded it, extended the top so 22mm attys will sit nice and flush, added 2.5v of power, and like i just said hopefully tuned to rms. well done joyetech, well done

I just ordered the 30w version for my online store. the price is basically the same as the first one, so it should be very competitively priced. you will see in the next few days all the shops will be putting their regular 20w isticks on sale. i was shocked at the 30w when i found out about them this morning, and i'm even more shocked about the 50w one. if that's real, holy crap. i imagine they will only be about $50us give or take. and for that amount of mah, that's really amazing. if would have to have 2 batteries in there, and making it a little bigger isn't really a bad thing.

Love my original, just needs mean & I'd be all over it. The menu system on this thing is perfect for me, up down change your settings. Switches modes easy enough. After watching Phil's review on the new innokin stuff & using this their menus are crap. ESP the MVP 20w with one button for voltage & one for Watts, stupid. Looking forward to this. I'd spend $50 or so for good battery life, spring loaded pin & a simple menu.

I think the MVP's setup is ideal , what are two buttons to complicated ? i'll take an MVP every time , the iStick needs to show it can down regulate correctly and it has not done that .

All good, happy blessed new yr to all. That menu is the only thing I've seen that really turns me off for some reason. I find myself adjusting up n down all the time on my istick. I just really dig the way the menus function.

This explains how I was able to get a 20v for $25 the other day.
If the 30w fixes the modulation then its a done deal for me.

That is my only complaint about the 20w. It fires too hot and some of my flavors are best at 6w.
No mention of minimum fire resistance on the 30w. Might be an issue of concern.

Yeah, luckily for me everything I use I basically run between 6-8 watts on the istick, not totally sure what that would be on another device, but for me its just fine. I'd happily pay $25 for another one, not sure what my mom payed for the one I have now, guessing about $40.

This will be release late January, origin vape will be selling them for 40bucks, the kamry 20 watts is sweet looking thing... If u want to sub ohm just get the mech mod or SIGELEI,god mod,ipv3 i really think regulated devices especially this mini are design for the RTA and there's a lot of stuff coming out for 2015... I already have the 20 watts eleaf, looking forward for the 30 watts, I dont plan to subohm on this box cuz its defeats the purpose of invincibility!! Just saying!!

I've given away my 15w mods, pif'd a Sigelei 20W tube mod to a buddy down on his luck, and gave my VTR to my brother. When the 50W iStick comes out, I'll buy one.

Looks like this is my next mod, sold my istick a few weeks ago. I can't imagine them not going with RMS, spring loaded 510 and better threads.

Anybody seen potential cost of the 50w? Don't need all that power, but if they changed the power regulation and added a better 510 pin it should come out around tax time. The 30 looks good too, seems they kept the menu system (which I love btw), just hoping eleaf has been paying attention to people's issues with the 20w (510 connection, occasionally not firing and better power regulation) price wise i haven't found any better.

We could just all buy MVP 2s for $100, I found this really great deal... In all seriousness why do vendors try to screw ppl like this? I would never pay double for something. Stupid.

Seen a few things stating accurate metering, so I'm guessing they have proper step down now? Totally gonna look in to this one as $ allows.
Seems they moved the fire button, maybe they upgraded the board a little bit?

The only problem I see is I don't see where it has a lock? the +/- buttons are right in the way of my first finger pressing the fireing button unless I use my left hand. I usually use one or the other hand when vaping. [Pertaining to the 50 watt mod]

Looks like a lot of places are taking pre-orders for the 30 and the 50. $39.90 for the 30watt, $49.90 for the 50 watt. The release is near the end of the month....

found this on eciggity facebook. 4400mah seems like dual 18650, looking like a winner.

It just goes to show the strength and innovation of Eleaf in bringing forth high quality gear and rising above the competition. I had a feeling that the i Stick was going to dominate the market and be an enormously successful device that it has grown to be, and now only a few months later we're all witnessing such rapid progress in the works. I would gladly pay $70 for this mod but if it's going to sell for a mere $50 then it's an absolute steal to me. I now own 5 i Sticks and each of them have been working great. I also own several Eleaf tanks and never had leaks, threading issues or burnt hits. This company has set the bar high for others to follow and is becoming my go to source for all my vaping needs. Ever since the i Stick was released my intuition told me that something grand was coming soon but I didn't expect it to be this soon. I thought maybe April-May of 2015. Only three months have passed and now a 30 watt and 50 watt option is going to be available for people to choose according to their needs. 4400 milliamp battery is about as good as it gets. I get 2 days on a single charge at 2200 so this battery will likely last (4 days) per charge. This means that on a standard battery with 350 life charge cycles you will charge the i Stick only 7 times per month giving you (50 months) of usage which in sum equates to 4 years and 2 months before it dies. 50 watts of power is more than enough to satisfy anyone's needs even those who prefer to sub ohm as high as 30-40 watts, so 50 watts is plenty in addition to 10 Volts to round off the package. Resistance as low as .2 ohms, a beautiful clear OLED screen, nice firm buttons, spring loaded pin, sturdy build and polished metallic finish makes it an extremely attractive mod. I personally doubt that there will even be anything on the market to even come close to competing with it. The i Stick at 20 watts got nearly everything right the first time. Now V2 which is the 30 watts and the V3 topping off at a huge 50 watt range. Eleaf is a great company, they had listened carefully to the needs of the community and acted in the most expedient manner with upgrades and innovation. When these two i Sticks the 30 watt and 50 watt are released in their final form they will dominate the market with absolute certainty, it will most assuredly be end game. Everything that one can wish for in a mod will be available with the three i Sticks versions to choose from. No chargers, no batteries to purchase and no need to look at over priced high powered mods. Eleaf really nailed it with these upgrades. You get choice, power, convenience and quality in a small package for an unbelievably low price. This is as good as it gets.

Here's what the 30 watt v2 offers

5-30 watts, 2-8 volts, 2200 milliamp battery, stainless steel threading, spring connection, button lock functionality, OLED screen, .5 - 5 ohm range, fit tanks up to 23 mm perfectly. Colors all the same beautiful black, silver, violet and blue. 23mm 32mm 77mm.

Here's what the 50 watt v3 offers

5-50 watts, 2-10 volts, 4400 milliamp battery, stainless steel threading, spring loaded connection, temperature alarm function for safety, side charging port, bright OLED display on the front, fire button on the side, .2 - 5 ohm range. Colors the same as above. 23mm 45mm 83mm.

Charge for the 30 watt is about 2 hours
Charge for the 50 watt is about 5 hours
Both using the included 1 Amp charger via wall outlet

Now let's take a look at original i Stick dimensions 21mm 32mm 75mm. There's barely any noticeable difference between the 20 watt and 30 watt. The 50 watt i Stick a mere 0.5 inch difference in length and 0.3 inches in height. In all the size variance is very slight keeping in sync with its tradition of being the most compact full featured portable mod on the market. I wanted to gather all the information so that everyone will have everything on one page for quick and easy reference to help you make an informed decision. I for one will be buying each of these through my trusted vendors when they are released. I'll also let everyone know where to get them from a good trusted source once I get the information. Until then, all I can say is that this is a super introduction to the industry and a game changer across the board. Everything people wanted from Eleaf has arrived. Happy New Year!

Dissonance - Wow, with that write up I think eLeaf needs to offer you a job writing marketing materials:p

In all seriousness, I think the 50 Watt iStick is going to clean house and get rid of a lot of so-so products such as the Chana 30, Chana 50, The 35 watt tube models, Et Cetera.

I think we will see a ton of clones and knockoffs of this model, perhaps even before it hits the shores in late January. If the 50 watt iStick is reasonably accurate and put out a full 50 watts, they will own the 50 watt and under market at the $50 price point.

You can put in a good letter of recommendation for me and my attorneys will draft a contract for a percentage of gross international sales. I can then live out my dream like Larry Ellison and purchase my own island in Hawaii. Live in an isolated paradise with the natural beauty of the pacific to keep me warm both physically and spiritually. You're absolutely right the i Stick will clean house much like it did with the 20 watt version. I didn't have issue with any of mine they work great and continue to work great. Just set your power to what you like and forget the numbers on the display. Clones will come out no doubt but I think they will be released after the i Stick is finished with the final revisions. Factories in China will then purchase the original and try to replicate it to make it look as authentic as possible. My guess is that clones will arrive a month after the launch at the end of January. I think it will sell easily for $70 but at $50 it's a steal. I was talking to a few guys last week who bought the i Stick for $60 at their local brick and mortar and were very happy with their purchase, this is the 20 watt. So I'm thinking if people will dish out that for the older version the successor will easily get strong sales even at the $70 price point, no doubt in my mind. But at $50 that's just a tremendous bargain. Eleaf could have sold the i Stick for $60 which is what the MVP sold for initially, in fact if it was selling well on many site for even more. But Eleaf either made the mistake in underestimating the market or they simply wanted to offer a high quality mod for a very low price that would reach a wider audience, either way they had succeeded. It became very popular around the world and with the upgrades there's really not much more one can ask for. Innokin took over a year just to boost the MVP a mere 9 watts to the 20 watt recent release. Eleaf completely upgraded every single concern that people have had within three months. This company deserves a lot of praise for their innovation and strong leadership in the industry and to the vapor community as a whole. Very excited to see the 30 and 50 watt hit the market.

Hopefully they will get the 50w chip to fire at correct voltages and watts unlike the istick 20. Was going to buy one for my brother until I saw Busardo's video when he hooked it up to his test equipment. Starts at 22:00 into the video

That is the only real complaint with mine, other than the occasional no fire when hitting the button. Really bad the higher the battery charge is. I work around it tho & for me it's just fine, just wish it was more accurate/consistent , especially in vw mode.

He was actually very pleased with it as a whole and uses it on a regular basis. Most people didn't really see that as an issue. They watched the review and ended up buying several and have been very happy with them. Sales have been very strong and they sell out everywhere. It's become the go to mod for a lot of people. I'm sure Eleaf had addressed this minor complaint when they upgraded the 30 and 50 watt versions. I'll buy them regardless since it was never an issue for me. I wanted to see more battery power or increased wattage, they did that. Stainless steel threading and spring loaded connection, didn't really matter since my threads have not deteriorated and all my tanks make good connection, but still a nice improvement. I was mainly concerned with size and maintaining the same form factor since it feels great in my hands and is easy to carry and store, the upgrades show that they remained true to the original concept.

The Joytech eGrip which I personally don't like but is selling well from a vendor I do business with for $70 and that's for no volts, 20 watts and a small 1500 milliamp battery. i Stick you can find as low as $35 for the full kit volts, 20 watts, OLED screen, small size, stylish colors and 2200 milliamp battery. Along with charger, cables and ego adapter. A huge deal at half the price. Both the 30 and 50 watts will sub ohm as well. It's a complete package when you look at the specs I provided above.

you are comparing an all in one package to a battery mod. egrip goes for $50 generally with a built in tank and coil heads (now $10 for rba head) and the istick was going for $35 on average, any tank will cost at least $20 so the price is equal give or take. ill agree tho that comparing just battery to battery istick has higher mah with OLED
