If you start with about 3% FA Strawberry and add 0.5% or 1% each of a few other FA flavors, you really can't go wrong: Meringue, Fresh Cream, Vienna Cream, Custard, Catalan Cream. I personally like it with Custard and Fresh Cream. Some people would add Marshmallow to that list (not me; I'd go Cocoa first :).
That's pretty much what I came to in my last test.
3% Strawberry
1% Vienna Cream
1% Catalan Cream
1% Fresh Cream
1% Meringue
.5% Lemon Sicily

I was thinking for the next version I was going to try:
4% Strawberry
2% Catalan Cream
1% Marshmallow
.5% Fresh Cream
.5% Lemon Sicily

I don't know why I hadn't tried Custard yet. Gotta finish off these last two 6ml testers first.

RyGon, do you notice the orange/lemon in Catalan Cream?
LOL, no. I noticed I liked it better than the Vienna when combined with the Strawberry. Maybe that's what was working for me. My pallet is getting better but not there yet.

I need to explore more, but I've kept my Strawberries-n-Cream very simple...

3% FA Strawberry
.5% FA Fresh Cream
.5% Vanilla Classic

But I think I may need to add a little something to get more of a fresh strawberry taste rather than a candy strawberry taste. Would that be a small amount of lemon?

re, my buttered popcorn and lemon pepper recipe.
Flavor west has a capsicum flavor/ingredient that Ecig express says is very hot. Does anyone know anything about it? I am considering ordering it, but given that it is FW I thought I would ask first.

I went to 6% on the strawberry. 4% wasn't cutting it for me. I havetoed not tried it since the increase though. Its steeping without the cap atm.

Don't. I have a full bottle, for one thing. I had made a thread about it asking for suggestions on dilutions. I was going to use it for added throat hit for Glen's mixes, but was warned not to by a couple of people in that thread. The thing is, though, when I asked the guys at Pure Vapes what they use for throat hit, they told me Capsicum.

With that said... if you are interested in it for a DILUTION, I'd be willing to send you a sample of it. Then you wouldn't have to put money into something. I haven't made a dilution of it, but am way more hesitant to do so, now.

Not sure which is the best place to buy, either. I am on bull city and ecigexpress. I have a bunch of the tobaccos.

I like Bull City. ECX in a pinch. Since you have the tobaccos, maybe try out some creams and fruits?

Did you check flavor reviews on FA tobaccos? If yes, Bull City ships in the original manufacturer's packaging. If not, heads up some are more spice/incense than tobacco (e.g. Cam Blend).

And, BTW, everybody's looking for a good Ginger... ;)

Creams, which kind would you say? Yes, I have been reading, and I like the hard spicy tobaccos. I don't like the sweets, but thank you. It is the sweet vapes that make my throat and stomach hurt. I was wondering, could it be my local shop? They do mix it right there, and I haven't asked them about it.

You seem so sure Huck. :) You know I have to try it now. Thank you for the kind offer of your bottle, but it would cost you more in postage than it is worth. I'll just add it to my next order. The stuff really has me intrigued now, and as long as it doesn't have any "custard notes", I'll try it at 10% and use 1 drop of that in 6ml and see what happens. Again, thanks.

This is the capsicum thread I mentioned. http://vapingunderground.com/threads/capsicum-heat.34178/ So, you might want to check it out, or at least toward the bottom where Zamazam talks about it. Then decide. I haven't made a dilution, still. Also, I might try going lower, then working your way up IF you decide to. It still makes me nervous, so if you do, proceed with caution.

Ecx is having a 25% sale on all flavorings. The discount is applied automatically. It end tomorrow.
I got that email from them too. But, I think it means the discount only applies to their "Flavor Express" brand of flavorings. At least that is the way I read it. I could be wrong.

I'll do that. Be cautious, I mean. I'll try that 1 drop of 10% dilutionin 15 ml of unflavored and un-niced juice. Thanks for the link. I'll go check iy out now.

awesome, let me know how you like it and if you think it could be dropped around 500+ times ha. brown sugar and custard go together like PBS and iced tea. good stuff.

wllmc, I got both mods today. I like them both. Right now, the DNA 30 comes out ahead, even though I'm not crazy about the buttons. But I've only had them since about 3:00 so I may change my mind about my favorite.

ON OTHER NOTES: today i was talking to a cute young couple at my local B&M. They had made some attempts, apparently bad ones, at DIY. I referred them here. :)

Don't forget we have a ecigexpress diy code for this forum. It is VU20 for 20% off. I do have a love/hate relationship with them.

I saw the price of their capella flavors suddenly went up once we got this coupon. And that price match button is apparently just for show....but I still order from them if I can't get flavors somewhere else.

Good to know. I think from now on I will place a comment on my order form and tell them to check their bottles for accurate volume. :)
Do you guys know what are bull city discount code is for this forum? I forgot where I seen the coupon code? Just found it VU6 for 6% off.

Funny you should mention that! I noticed on the clear FA bottles that they appeared to be a little light in respect to volume whereas the amber bottles seemed to be practically full. Perhaps the later is merely an illusion however due to the difficulty in seeing the contents of said bottle(s).

I think it's an illusion. I did check the amount on a couple that looked low, and they were exactly 10mls!

I also had most of my clear bottles from ECX look low. I checked a few of them and they were all at a fraction under 9ml. I figured for what I paid it was not worth the effort to get it rectified. One thing I did notice is that my Torrone from ECX does not smell exactly the same as the one from eliquidmart. It is similar but there is a very strong sharp almost citrus-like smell to the one from EXC that was not present in the one from eliquidmart.

I know it's not FA but I have been enjoying TFA cheesecake graham crust. Here's what I have been vaping the past couple of days.

3% TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust
1% FA Vienna Cream
0.25% FA Cinnamon Ceylon
0.25% FA Hazelnut

I get a hint of hazelnut but not much of any cinnamon. I think it is yummy but might try a bit more cinnamon in the next mix.

Sounds delicious! I know a lot of us use that TFA cheesecake graham - FA doesn't have anything else that works like that one!

Looks delish. i just realized your initials are BS. Oh, unless your given name is Robert, which doesn't have the same effect. There are quite a few flavors from other companies that surpass FA in taste. Don't hesitate to post. Not sure if it was in reference to a post a week or so ago, but I only commented because the thread was veering to a totally different company. If you have no idea to what I'm referring, please ignore the last couple sentences. =)
