I don't use TC but the mesh pro coils are known for how well they work in TC mode.czombie
Thanks very much for the information. Curious are you able to fire the mesh in TC mode or only in power mode? After reading your reply I looked at the Freemax site. Interesting tank.
Again thanks
Regards
That's how I use my Drag too. Most of the newer mods fire super fast.. But the Voopoo Drag is the first mod that has a nichrome temp control that actually WORKS, for the most part. If you keep firing with a bone-dry wick, it seems to burn - but it sure regulates the nichrome at reasonable accuracy before that point.. And who keeps pressing the firing button when their wick is found to be bone-dry, anyways?
In contrast, both of my died-early Kangertech mods had nichrome settings that I could just not get to work at all.
The drag works well enough, that I think I'm reserving it as my nichrome temp control mod.
Haven't read any complaints regarding their products on this forum, unless I missed something.Whats ur opinion on the new Vopoo mod? Says it has a quick firing chip. Any opinions?

Ni200 is for TC and Ni80 is for power modeCool! I finally hear of someone else using it successfully with nichrome TC. I was wondering if maybe it was just a fluke or something, that I got one that works with it - but I guess not.
Have you done any tests between something like N-60 and n-80? I've only done these two coil types (twisteds) so far with the drag, but I think the n-80 works a bit better, unless it was just my imagination. It might have something to do with the nickel content, perhaps. I'm wondering if anybody else notices similar.

Mine just says Ni, Ti, or SS but I can't use the software because they lack support for my operating systems. Its bullshit but DNA stuff is the same wayI think we're talking about different things... At least what I'm referring to, is actually using Ni60/Ni80 FOR temp control on the drag (you can enable it in the software). Yes.. It works [here] in TC.
If you listen to a video about the new DNA Replay feature, Brandon talks about it needing a TC type of wire - and that that includes nichrome. He said the only material Replay wouldn't work with is kanthal. So apparently TC is possible with nichrome, with a chip sensitive enough to detect it. Which seems to include the DNA 75C, and apparently the Gene chip(set) that's in the Drag.
