Hi Folks,

I will convey my thoughts and do my very best to provide you with enough information so you can reach your own conclusion on the product, so no recommendations from me, just a final conclusion of my personal experience with it. Please ask questions in the below if I've missed anything you want to know

Presentation wise comes in a plastic box with the Cobra and Asvape Emblem, sleeve slides out presenting you with the cobra. There’s a scratch and sniff is on the back of the box. Not much to this one although the casing does provide you with better protection during shipping.
I really like that the spare coil come in a tube even if it does look like a suppository! I hate it when companies dump spare coils in the box as an afterthought exposing the cotton to all the foam.
Looks & Initial Impressions
Styling is very smart, its form reminds me of the top of a Mont Blanc pen. The subtle engraving on the top cap and the Airflow control ring is fantastic. There is nothing in your face about this Atomiser, it manages to be different without being vulgar.
The coils are a work of art in themselves. I would like to have seen a clear and blackened version of the glass section so I can choose whether or not to show it off.
The coil wicking is different. I’ve not seen many (if any I can remember) with this style before, smaller holes but they almost encircle the entire coil housing to maximise entry points for the juice to keep that cotton soaked evenly, something a lot of premade coils struggle with (especially the tops of them)
It’s a shame there aren’t a lot of coil options for this tank, “you can chose any coil you like as long as it’s the 0.5 N80 (Nichrome)!” There’s no RBA deck or different coil materials available at the time of this review. So if you don’t mind NI80 read on, otherwise bow out now and thanks for enduring me this far. I happen to like NI80, I use it a lot when I build coils as it produces a great flavour, I know some say this is nonsense but I can definitely tell the different between using SS to NI80. SS has clean taste to my flavour where I’m able to pick out individual flavour notes, NI80 is a warmer more rounded vape where flavours are merged together, If find it works well especially with the bakery flavours.
The Cobra sits flush on my mods. The AFC has a stop so there is no free turning on it. Unfortunately it’s press fit but does offer nice resistance when turning.
At first glance the drip tip looks too small for my liking, but it’s very comfortable. It does take a standard 510 drip tip. I ran both but preferred the stock drip tip on this.
Build Quality
Excellent tolerances on all the parts everything fits together perfectly. The internals are machined just as well as the externals and all parts feel solid and not cheap.
Threading is top notch, coils are easy to put in and remove
Positive pin sits proud no dodgy resistance reading detected to date, Coils have a +0.1 variance from stated 0.5ohm
Anodised paint on the metal held up to ultrasonic cleaning no problem
I would like to have seen a better Grip around the top cap, however it doesn’t seem to snag or get stuck when undoing it so I’ll give it a pass on this. Just remember not to gorilla grip the top cap on, it really isn’t needed otherwise you’ll find yourself unscrewing the tank from the mod as you try to open for a refill.
I did have a bit of a mishap when putting in the glass section in the ultrasonic cleaner for the first time. In one 3 minute cycle the film started peeling off! Ok the water was pretty hot at the time but dammit! I hadn’t even used it yet and I had already knackered it. So users beware of doing that! Fortunately for me there’s a spare.
As it so happens I’m glad it did strip because I think it looks even better with the black film removed, it provides a premium look to it with juice in the chamber and I get to show the coil off!
(The spare)
(The tank I'm rocking)
Features
Tank breaks down into 6 parts for cleaning and maintenance.
For refilling you have to unscrew the top cap. The refill holes could be a bit bigger, I find I have to use my thin nose refill bottles. There is a reservoir to catch overspill when filling but if there is any juice on top of the lip it squeezes out under the top cap when threading it back on which then needs to be wiped away. This is something all threaded top refill Atomisers suffer with.
It doesn’t leak! Not had a drip from this the whole time, sitting on the mod or when in use. I’ve not even seen any condensation collecting in the base, awesome as I hate leaky tanks with a passion.
The 3.8ml Juice capacity is decent for the 0.5 coils in here, it lasts for a good while before a refill. I didn’t find myself getting cheesed of with having to refill it every 5 minutes like other atomisers in my collection.
