I'm not too particular about coffee, it all tastes like swill to me unless made in a French press, and who has time for that? So if the coffee itself is going to taste bad, might as well go cheap and use heavy cream to make it actually taste good.

Tea on the other hand. I thought I hated tea when I was young until I found the good stuff. Love a good cup of oolong in particular.

I like a good English breakfast tea. It has sort of a “meatiness” to it.

Yeah, I used to think I hated tea too. Now I know... I just hate INSTANT tea. Shit is so stale-tasting and nasty, dunno how anyone with a tongue can drink that crap.

I'm not a big fan of most Chinese teas, they're a little too thin and sharp to my taste, the way green tea is... I like the dark, fragrant, full-bodied teas. Marvelous stuff.

Well, aside from making use of AES cryptography I knew nothing online could be securely 'secret'. Even Tor and Onion nodes are monitored. I do not necessarily have anything I feel needs concealed online. Got a simple policy about that, 'want it kept secret? Tell nobody and do not write it down in any form, ever."

Once you tell someone, if you ever figure it is something you require help to achieve, then you have created a conspiracy. That's all conspiracy theories are, guesses that John Doe told Tom Jones about his idea to inflate his car tires. John might hope Tom gets the message and goes out and jacks his car up to more readily facilitate tire inflation. Yep, big EVIL & OH SO SECRET conspiracy there. Fred Smith, he guessed 'something' was going on when John called over the fence to get Tom and said something to him real quiet like.

I actually am involved in a conspiracy currently. I am conspiring with my wife to attain a loan from the USDA to help us manifest realizing our own home with a small farm. They provide such lines under the auspices of rural development. So, yes I'm conspiring with my wife to live our lives. :) Frighteningly evil that I know.

Today, I had to cancel an order for Ready X wick midway through making it. First site I've run across what actually required 'carding' a customer. Wife says to me, ... "um, NO." I kind of understand her point too. If nothing else I'm sure we can trip up into OH and stop by up there to get some wick. I really do not 'need' it, might be useful but no great concern. If it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't I'm not going to be worried either way. It was just kind of funny to notice my wife now seeming to take up my 'bat shit insane' paranoia. *giggle*

Telle est la vie, laissez les bons moments rouler.

I like the Prime, dumped the Hulu long ago. Just started with Sling because we could get Turner Classic Movies, my favorite after PBS, lol
I stopped Hulu but the wife squealed so I started it back up.
I watch maybe 2 hours of Hulu per month.
About the same of prime.

I get PBS free over the antenna.
I actually get about 20 channels from the antenna. but nuthin is ever on :)

wife watches it though.

Mr Juicy is a TV hound, I can take it or leave mainly

There are a few shows I like to watch, but I prefer to socialize on the internet instead

You all need a Firestick with Mobdro and Terrarium TV. Both are Android apps that get you live streaming TV feeds and TV shows and movies for free.
For Mobdro, the feeds may not be HD, but I was perfectly content watching Red Zone on NFL Network a couple Sundays ago. TTV usually has shows updated an hour or two after it airs usually in HD. Sometimes there’s even decent quality theatrical releases. Basically if you can think of a movie you want to watch you can find it there. For. FREE!

I was an early cord cutter. Started with Netflix, did Hulu for a while but have Amazon for the shipping anyway so switched to that, started Sling recently cause the kids love the Disney, watch a few commercial supported but otherwise free stuff as well.

The sling is a little pricey, but even if we left all the subscriptions going it'd be less money and commercials than cable, and everything plays when we want it.

Ahh getting about time to get another free trial month of Netflix and then cancel :)
I did that for 3 rounds before I decided it was worth the $10 a month. Love my Netflix!... I recently joined Hulu too. Hulu is great for episodes of shows that are currently on the air.

I figured out, during the 'season," I watch about 10-12 hrs a week of TV, depending on what shows are on. I spend roughly 3-4 times that reading. Rest of the time, either internetting, sleeping, cooking, or washing dishes/doing laundry. I'm a wretched housekeeper, but people gotta eat, and generally prefer doing it off clean dishes, in a reasonably tidy kitchen, while wearing clean clothes... or at least, clothes that won't stand up on their own. :D

I love a good English Breakfast tea, Earl Gray can be good, some of the Pakistani stuff and some Darjeeling are good even though they tend to go heavy handed with some of the non-tea flavorings added in. I'm not a huge fan of green tea, most is too bitter, but I've been pleasantly surprised before. Can not stand Jasmine tea, anything Jasmine in the house is the wife's. Chrysanthemum is hit or miss.

My Dish was costing me $130/month... so I dumped it. Now I just have the netflix and hulu for $22/month. And I have Amazon prime too, but it's rare that they have anything worth watching.

the more things change the more they stay the same.
Humans...

WE only have a couple of carriers here, so don't get to cash in on that kind of shit - didn't know it was happening again

Great for the consumer

I set up a SS clapton on my new Wasp. Holy cow, does that thing blow vapor! Huge clouds from such a tiny thing. Really glad some of my 510 drip tips fit on it. I have it set up on my Pico Squeeze. I really love how deep the juice well is, it holds a ton of cotton/juice. Many thanks to those of you who recommended it (I'm looking at you, @The Cromwell). :)

The only tea that I consider actually "tea" is made from the leaves of camellia sinensis, and nothing else. Well, sugar, gotta have that, but that's IT. No fruit flavors, ick. I do enjoy "Constant Comment" when I have a cold and my smeller is on the fritz; plain tea might as well be hot sugarwater for all I can taste/smell it, but the Constant Comment gets thru -- I do add some TFA Cinnamon Spice, to balance out the overpowering clove, and it's fandamntastic with orange blossom honey.

Oh no, no fruit flavorings. The Pakistani stuff is all spices like clove or herbs. Darjeeling isn't fruit flavored, it has fruity notes like the same way a wine taster says a wine has notes of whatever in it.

I can understand not liking florals, it's why I dislike Jasmine. Chrysanthemum is just sometimes light enough to not get in the way of the tea, and not getting in the way of tasting the tea is the line I draw between good and bad Chrysanthemum.

I take my tea straight though, without anything on top, like my steaks. I can get my sugar elsewhere and condiments are for eggs.

I can't even imagine drinking tea without sugar; my husband often does, but says he prefers my iced tea, which is just lightly sweet, just enough to knock off the worst of the bitterness, though Luzianne is pretty mellow for American tea. If I go out to eat, down here in the south they have this syrup they call "sweet tea", but I have to order half sweet/half unsweet, or it's just intolerable. Probably pretty tasty on pancakes or waffles or french toast. :D

There are some great cured meats without a bunch of terrible crap in them

Tonight, am making beef jerky, not cured but naturally dehydrated
That reminds me to watch (Fight Club) again.

<Tyler Durden: In the world I see - you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty car pool lane of some abandoned superhighway.>

The Wasp? Incredibly easy. Easier than the Hadalay even. Airflow has to be exactly half way or exactly full open or it whistles like a freight train though. Spits like a cobra too. But great flavor too.

I'm liking the Gorge better for the lack of whistling.
The spitting depends on wattage and build.
Mine spits virtually none.
