I've been in menopause for 10 years. Every time I'm cold I sure do wish I still had hot flashes! :) When my periods disappeared, my hot flashes went too. :(

Mine have been lessening, since then (2009), but I still get them fairly regularly -- but thankfully, I've learned to deal with them pretty well; it always feels like my ears are so hot, they're about to melt or go up in flames, so I put cold water on my ears, and then fan them rapidly -- it helps immediately, since the ears are DIRECTLY connected to the hypothalamus, where the "thermostat" lives -- which is also why keeping your ears warm in the winter is a must, if you want to stay warm!

But I have to say, I've REALLY enjoyed the lack of the monthly psychotic episodes, always feeling like I was about to have some kind of meltdown over the stupidest shit! I'm sure my husband agrees with that wholeheartedly. :giggle: And everytime I see an "Always" commercial on TV, I get up and do a little dance, singing "I don't need that shit anymore!" :giggle:

Muhahahah!!! You don't. In case you weren't aware of it there's a sign out yon reading "Despair all ye whom enter". There's good reason too, you come past the doors you're entering the Asylum of the Twilight Zone. Watch out you don't catch the "normalcy" bug, if you do eats it before the guys in white coats see you got it. We had some gal here last what got it and went to room 222. She came back a turnip head and we needed to brush the algae off her nose every few hours.

Chocolate really does help! And you may know this already, but NEVER, under ANY circumstances, ask her, when she's mad or upset, if it's "that time" -- she may slap the shit out of you, and you would richly deserve it, for implying that she has no right or reason to be perturbed except under the constraints of her own physiology.

My wife told them "hysterectomy." She got really bad, as in I had done nothing at all and out of the blue she is coming at me with a hatchet. They put her birth control that she takes six months, goes off a cycle, then back on birth control. Stupid gits won't let her have elective hysterectomy, "too young" they say.

ETA: I now off on a lark singing the darn Lumberjack song. Makes note to add this to his list of things to take his wife to the courthouse for on the third Sunday for a brief public whooping with a small hickory rod.

I was out piddling in the firewood yet again today. Kind of got an I dear brewing. I strip out the inner bark from some of the wood as tinder nesting material for us. I'd wager somebody would be more than glad to pay say $5 a pound of the nesting, as it's already peeled out. You can make cordage out of it as well.

And don't despair for my witch, er wife. I genuinely do not beat her at all, ever. I also try to avoid ever causing her any upset, anger, foul thoughts except for the arsenic patties I eat. We joke darkly. Once I upset someone by saying I was going offline to kick my dog and beat my wife. If you know me longer than a moment you realize that is one black and white thing for me. I'm not abusive, rather pacifistic actually. I know how to live. :) I let karma worry over running over the jerks, ... usually. ;) :)

Jesus, a hatchet  but yeah they don't like to do it young in case she has a change of heart but personally the decision should be hers not theirs...it's HER body.

Heh I used to ask my ex-wife that alot. Probably why she's my ex and I'm single but I refuse to live in fear of someone just because of their physiology as you put it. Having said that if I have to stay single to not turn into one of those poor souls who fear their SO so be it.

It's one thing to be *aware* of it... it's quite another thing entirely to ask that question, if she's upset -- you just said, in a roundabout way, that whatever she's mad about is completely insignificant and irrelevant, it's just her hormones making her act that way. The *severity* of the reaction may well be because of hormones... but how would you like it if you legitimately got mad about something, and someone made some comment indicating that your mad meant nothing at all except that your body was slightly fucked up? And they were willing to pat you on your pretty little head,. but not to actually react appropriately to whatever made you mad? It's insulting and patronizing.

Listen to this fruitcake...:giggle:

You mean the guy putting her down? I agree, total fruitcake. The only part of Ashley's rant that was fruitcakish was about Trump. But we know all those Hollywood bleeding-heart liberals hate him, because he speaks TRUTH. It offends their "safe space."

It's always amused me so much; guys who talk the most stupid shit about women.... really hate gays, seeming to find the very EXISTENCE of gay people as some kind of personal affront. But it just doesn't make sense, because these cavemen clearly hate women.

Andria

and PS: Ashley is not Wynona's sister; I think they're actually cousins.

Isn't the Therion squonker that screwed up one where the battery is behind the bottle and a snap in clip.
I could be confused though....

It is my understanding the Therion and the VT75 by HCigar are almost identical.

I have the VT 75 and it's pretty standard as far as battery and bottle, no PITA issues at all
