They still can't do anything about China based transactions with China based companies. The only thing that can hurt that is Customs being able to seize enough items to make it unprofitable for the Chinese to do business with us (individuals) directly. That would take a lot of seizures of a helluva lot of packages, keeping in mind people buy more than vape gear.

Since US Customs is encouraged to cooperate with the FDA, & since UPS, FedEx, USPS, & DHL need to play nice with US Customs, I can see off shore suppliers having more problems getting their goods to market.

More problems, maybe. Definitely I can see delays for vape shops getting their gear, as they can be red flagged for inspection at any time based on the recipient. But for the sender, sending to a private party in the US? There might be a thing here or there taken, but it would be sporadic, at best. I haven't had any problems with FT or GB. FT is sending from private party to private party, almost as a broker between actually shipper and recipient. GB, I dunno, takes forever to get anything from them even on a good shipment. Last I got from them were battery cases, but I didn't look at the return address.

A thing taken here or there from FT is one thing. A $500 mod from Vaughan being confiscated is probably more than Vaughan or the recipient want to risk.

Well, in fairness, you can't really compare a high price tag, luxury item with still being able to get stuff. And if you think that US Customs will be intentionally pulling containers and seizing individual packets on a regular basis without the benefit of forewarning or reasonable expectation of enforceable seizure, I think you're verging on conspiracy theorist territory. Spot checks will continue to occur, as they always have. But targeted checks for vape gear from private party to private party? No way.

With that said, shippers who use questionable packaging, packaging that looks like Jeff Foxworthy's best friend is sending him some shine, well, which package would you be more inclined to set aside as a customs officer? The USPS standard shipping box, or Bubba's duct tape envelope?

Since 8/8, I *have* seen occasional abnormal delays in USPS domestic shipments. All of these were return addressed with evident vape shop names. I won't say who, but there are some domestic vendors who are wise to this, or already cautious enough, and ship private party to private party. I have not had any delays whatsoever in these packages. In fact, they almost all arrive within 3 days of being shipped.

Liking these derringer v3. Like the velocity mini, there is no original.

I just put the fdv m3 pin. Didn't trim them. They feed a centred z coil nicely like that. Need to adjust my 510s though.

No leaks, since wicks hold juice in surrounding the pin.

Turned a drip tip today to get my new Pinch a little more matchy-matchy. The Wood Nuppin cap is still a work in progress, but you can start to get a idea on where I'm heading with it. The wood on the atty is actually sleeved over the clear poly section on the top and bottom so no juice will make contact with wood inside the chamber. Hoping to finish it up this weekend if all goes well :)

Wasn't the base the same in both?
Have heard they are, but only have second version.

I never did put one together and vape it.

I semi-took apart one of the first version attys, but that was awhile back and I recall almost nothing about it except it didn't look like a great vape.

The second version is not a bad vape. Not bad for an included atty. the included driptip sucks has a molded in spitback guard which can be snipped off. But I just use a teflon drip tip.
