You guys were talking about the FDA and trying to get people off vaping and back to smoking cigs for the tax $. I live in PA and it will be a 40% tax on eliquid and vape gear in October. Unreal. I very well might cave in and smoke a cig. Big tobacco wins, vape shops and vapers lose.
Don't do it, don't give in to the malicious piece of shit, bought and paid for scum in Government. Just buy what you can now to stock up and DiY, you can trade shit "underground" and other ways around this. Like get a P.O. Box outside of the state and just keep your orders monthly or even bi-monthly.

There are ways of getting around of the Scum puppets of Big Pharma, fuck them DO NOT GIVE IN!

Thanks. What kind of build should I do with ss in this rta?

Whatever build you usually like - just use steam engine. SS will probably require more wraps than Kanthal for the same ohms you usually vape.

I just cleaned and recoiled my original (#0020) SS Boreas. This thing still just impresses the crap out of me. The tank is so damn solid.
I put dual parallel coils in. 26ga Kanthal, 7 wraps, comes in at 0.24 ohms. They ramp up almost instantly at 52 watts. The flavor is outstanding! Nice and warm with a ton of clouds. Using the small deck with 2 or 3 air holes open (depending). No leaks, nothing but a fine, fine vape!

Probably need to use the bigger deck to fit the bigger coil right? Where do you get premade fancy fused Clapton coils from? Always wanted to try those.

The decks included are the same size; the holes for juice are different. One is 2mm, the other 2.5 mm if memory serves me right

Right that's what I meant sorry
Yes, it is only the juice holes that are different. As far as actual deck size both the same...the coils I just put in are parallel, 7 wraps, that would make (in essence) 14 strands of wire on each coil. They are contact coils, but still pretty damn wide, but they fit with room to spare. Not much, but there is room for another wrap if I needed it.

Yep, don't give in to their extortion. Just because they're sucking Big Phama and Big Tobacco's dick doesn't mean you have to!

There's always ways around this and it is not only an unjust but an unethical law, we are morally bound not to follow.

This Scum responsible for these laws and restrictions have the Blood of a Billion Lives on their hands.

If I knew how to make juice I would definitely do it to save money. I really don't know a thing about it other than VG/PG, nicotine and food flavoring. Where do you get these things?
Huge DIY sections here Matt. Check them out they're actually real informative. I learned a lot from them but I have not started to DIY just yet.

It's really easy with HIC's mixes. Supplies can be had from Ecigexpress.com they have everything. Bullcityvapor.com has everything but no nicotine. I recently got nicotine from http://www.vaperstek.org. If you are really interested I can explain further.

Yes! First go read Hic's Mixes here on vapingunderground. I spent so much money before I found HIC. Searching for recipes online buying the flavors. But now I follow his thread his descriptions are fantastic. Sure there are some I like more than others but read others opinions.

Then follow his recipe. For example: the recipes reads:
http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-lemon-meringue-pie.9895/
3% FlavourArt's Lemon Sicily
2% FlavourArt's Vienna Cream

You would mix at 3 ml & 2 ml respectively. Now you have 5ml in your flavoring bottle, this is the easiest way to mix for me.
Use this eliquid calculator
http://e-liquid-recipes.com/create
You input your pg/vg ratio
Nic strength, etc.
For flavoring you put in your total % of 5%

It took me lots of hours of research to come to do it this way, but so worth it. His mixes are better to me than an commercial juice. But you have to spend time reading his descriptions & deciding what you like to try.

So it's similar to lemon meringue pie tasting? Sounds amazing!

HIC has a FA Tiramisu recipe for free & doesn't use that many flavors.

http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-tiramisu-with-nonna.199816/
Hic's Tiramisu with Nonna
Mmmm-yummm! You know that little bit of vanilla cake flavor in Tiramisu? If you've wished there were more of it, and you like sweet mocha flavors, try this.

3% FA Nonna's Cake
1% FA Tiramisu
1% FA Jamaican Rum

Very simple recipe, but so flavorful! Right after mixing, it's smooth and sweet tiramisu with extra vanilla. It takes a couple-few days for the cake flavor to fully develop, and man is it rich. Lots of thick creaminess here for coffee fans, and no need for sweeteners. :)

I noticed some said some ingredients contain Diacetyl and Acetyl Propionyl. They should be avoided at all costs, correct?

Sounds easy! I had no idea, I thought it would be a lot more complicated. So it needs to steep for a couple weeks before it's ready to vape, right? I'm definitely gonna try this. Thanks for the tips!

You can usually Vape right away but after (7) days it's when it starts tasting better after a month the taste really pops..... It's not rocket science and if you put the juice 15 seconds in the microwave once daily and vigorously shake until it looks like milk it will steep way faster...... And the bottle won't melt..... It's 15 seconds

Diacetyl is way over hyped. Facts are diacetyl is a natural organic that is is a lot of food like anything with wheat. It's also like a 1000 higher in cigarettes than juice and for many centuries of smoking tobacco not a single case of "popcorn lung". Bottom line it is really nothing to worry about.

Matt, here are some pics of the 26ga parallel coils and the wicking I use. The coils are tricky to do just making sure you do not overlap the 2 strands of wire. I need to practice a little more myself! Hope it helps.

I do them by hand on a 3mm ID jewelers screw driver. I think it might be cleaner using a jig though. May try that this afternoon. These are firing perfectly though so I'm good with them for a few weeks.
