I agree - I love wintergreen, spearmint is ok (the TFA tasted like maple on exhale ewww) peppermint not so much I am ordering the FA Spearmint to try and getting the Peppermint as well

Got a question for you HIC. while planing to try some of your recipes I noticed quite a few that require TFA Brown sugar. I was getting low so resupplied via Wizard Labs. While mixing tonight I finally noticed that my old bottle did not have the word extra on it and was a dark brown color. While the new one was clear. Have you tried both and which one was included in your recipes?

Not to speak for HIC, but I've had both of those. I couldn't tell a difference.

Ok I ordered a 120ml 100mg nic from VT - at first I was majorly impressed. I asked in a few threads about how to keep nic - I live in a sweatbox old apartment - did not get any response except to keep it in a cool dark place. If I had a COOL place I'd be in it lol. The nic changed to a peppery nic UGH not as bad as the first I had bought from excigexpress but close. Poor Kevin sent me another bottle Free (in the meantime I had sent for a 15ml of 18mg from NN) the VT nic came in a few days before the NN (FYI the NN went across the states and came back to me stupid USPS) so I tested them both figuring they both had been exposed to heat - the NN won hands down and still does IMO. When I wrote in the thread comparing nic I wrote that NN won over VT but not by much - was trying to be as truthful as I could. Maybe if I ever get to be in an air conditioned place it will come out differently? but for now I put all the VT nic in the freezer except the 120ml that is a base mix - it is in the fridge. I put my flavorings and tests in there also. Sorry for the long post - just wanted you all to know where I am coming from. BTW I use 20mg mixed nic in my base

Ok this is not all about me but LOL I have found through reading peoples reviews and through trial and error and experience that there are people whose taste buds are different. I agree that there are basically 3 kinds of tasters (remember I did say basically) there are supertasters who can almost always pick out every taste in a mix of flavors I'd say 25% of the population,then there are moderate tasters who can pick out the high notes and sometimes the low notes of a mix I'd say 50%, then there are some that can only pick out the high notes of a mix I'd say 25%. I do not care for overly sweet or overly sour tastes when I used to order a Long Island Ice Tea I would ask that the sweet&sour be left out lol. Yes smoking can be a cause of some taste loss while the sense of smell loss can do the same to decrease the sense of taste, but I do believe that we are all born with different levels of both smell and taste. Does this make it any easier to understand where the term subjective comes from or fits into it? I hope so as I feel both blessed and cursed with my senses both of smell and taste some days LOLOLOL

Nothing wrong with that, Dixie. I've yet to try VT nic so I can't do a comparison, but I really like the nic I get from NN. It's really clean, but a bonus for me is that I can order it in the nic/PG/VG ratio I want and receive a ready to mix base. Makes mixing so much simpler!

I'm always looking for ways to minimize flavoring, so I use the stronger (Extra) version. Brown sugar is always a minor flavor in my recipes, so TFA's regular Brown Sugar should sub in just fine at the same percent. If brown sugar was a major ingredient, you'd probably need to use more. It looks like TFA doesn't make the regular one any more.

Claire, that was my complaint, too. Then I found 2200mAh eGos under $10. A few of us discussed them here: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/interesting-2200mha-batterys.3408/ One lasts me all day, most days. Now there are 2600mAh - eGos are not the short-lived charge they used to be.

Thank you for this! Neighbors kid has been bugging me for battery to try. Trying to get off tobacco. These might just do the trick and will be a great addition for me when I don't want to carry a vamo.

Just wonder how many times when buying a 5 pack there's one in the bunch that's DOA.

I havent tried them yet, They are all taking a warm bath, but I mixed me up these so far:

Wllmc's Ras-Melon ( He just threw this out there one day with no name so I had to call it something)
Wllmc's Apple Pie ( Looks to be really good....... he snuck one TFA flavor in this one)
Wllmc's Secret double probation Banana Passionfruit Pie (again no name) ( he just threw some flavor names and percentages at me to try) I will have fun fiddlin with this one.
Wllmc's Lemon Lime creamy goodness ( you all seem to like this)

ands just for fun, I mixed up HICS Sunrise Smoothie.

There are alot of recipies with Meringue in it that I cant try yet and Ive re ordered from a diff vendor hoping that my meringue I have on hand is just bad or something.. ( dont much like the taste of it)

This will be fun this afternoon.

I reckon so, but dunno how - bad usually just means weaker tasting, in my limited experience.

Just remembered I have a fresh, original FA, bottle so sniffed and tasted it - I think there's some part which is common to (or simlar to some part of) their Custard, but overall it's a pretty accurate, realistic, home-cooked fluffy meringue (as in not those hard, crunchy, basically sugar, confections).

See that picture you posted ? Yeah, I could take a fork and eat that entire top layer of fluffy goodness and love it, and I've seen it made with the egg whites by good old mom, but it doesn't taste "eggy" to me in the real world.

I use it in a lemon meringue pie recipie HIC made for us. I can't remember but I think maybe it calls for 1% meringue ...... Well, I have to cut it to .25% for my taste buds .

Now that marshmallow idea may have some merit. Maybe I could try just a smidgin of meringue and then a bit of marshmallow.

Marshmallow could work. I use a bit of each in my Pralines. Hypnotic Mist + Marshmallow might be worth trying too - could be vaguely like an egg-free meringue, at a guess.

I am doing ok with my VT nic but can't use it over about 4mg/ml before it starts to burn my mouth/throat/nose. The sting/discomfort is there even at 3mg but I can usually ignore it. Higher than 4mg and it causes my lungs to feel tight and the burning becomes a bit less comfortable. I emailed Kevin at VT a couple of times with no reply. I do not get this nearly as bad from my RTS nic even up to 12mg (most of my store bought liquids also didn't have the burn). I tried just pure VG with flavoring and had no issues with that. The RTS nic definitely does not taste as clean as the VT though.

That is a great deal IMO. I've still only ever used WL nic, and have at least 50ml of 100mg left in the freezer and it seems like it will last forever. Two bucks won't break the vape budget!
