I vape my Boreas at 180-250W usually, my Limitless is sitting on my SX Mini Q-Class at 200W as well.
The RX200 has that ramp up in TC..... It ramps automatically from 20 to 200watts depending on your build and temperature setting.... It also sees if you are using Ti, SS,Ni, and changes accordingly....... Amazing what these mods doYou could be correct Jerus, but I am not having a big delay in ramp up since it is on a Sig 213 and it has a Power Up setting feature. I have that at 45w for 1.2 seconds...I get virtually immediate heat and then it powers back to 28 or 30 watts and I can take a longer draw. Just seems to work for me. I will check out a 36g wrap and see what's cookin'. Thanks for the advice.
That's what I wanted to know..... I'm looking for juice capacity..... I like that 10ml tank and 30mm size it's ok.... I love my Boreas, I was looking for something better..... If the Boreas was a 30mm with a 120ml tank...... I would never buy another tank......

brought it to work & I machined out the the airflow under the coil. I do not recommend doing it unless you know what you are doing
you can't go to deep or take out to much or your deck will be trash. Not sure I should go into detail
Does it have a 510 pin....

the way I am seeing it to . the jc is so tight that it is useless . on both my merlins .I think I'm starting to understand what folks are talking about in relation to the juice control. Once the tank is screwed on to the base adjusting the JC by turning the top and/or glass is the way. Other wise your screwing the tank off or on the base which appears to adjust (which it does but it will probably leak some). Then again maybe I still don't understand the complaint.
if it is an o ring problem it must be in base esembly ... so far we have not gotten any info to take it apart without damaging the base .This problem is being addressed and is likely linked to an o-ring problem according to a little bird I know. There is no reason to return.
The fuck? Damn.
I have No leaking issues & there was nothing wrong with my Merlin. I just didn't realize it was a MTL tank & I have plenty of those I wanted more of a DL RTA like my Boreas. Now I have it & loving the Merlin.Nope won't be doing anything like that.. Heck I haven't gotten the thing to work without leaking yet. One thing I noticed is I can blow a good bit of air through it even with AFC closed. No matter it's parked till the weekend. The Lemo2 will saty in service for now.
I am using 28/32 SS Clapton wire from advanced Vape Supply & use in in both my RTA's & RDAWhat's the best kind of Clapton for this tank? Meaning gauges of the wire
The Boreas has a base O-ring. If you want to get rid of it I will take itI don't but anymore tanks that have an opening on the base between the air and flow control ring and the actual base....it's only a matter of time before the oil begins to seep out between the o-ring down on the base... That happened badly on my VCMT..... That's why I use my Boreas, the crown, and Tfv4.... Everything with o rings on the base it's gone.... I want no oil on my mod, in my pocket and especIally down the 510pin....View attachment 53500View attachment 53501

They aren't asking me for a lot of money at all, but 2 weeks ago they were simply going to replace it, then forgot me, then said they're asking everyone to do the same - splitting the cost of whatever it is they need to send out. It's just rather frustrating. Yes, I can still use the tank, but that's not the problem here. imo. That doesn't sound stellar to me! Augvape needs to step up to the plate and make it right for their vendors.
I wouldn't pay any more than shipping, and that would even aggravate the hell out of me.
That's total BS! I hate when companies pull crap like that. They aren't asking me for a lot of money at all, but 2 weeks ago they were simply going to replace it, then forgot me, then said they're asking everyone to do the same - splitting the cost of whatever it is they need to send out. I have that wire and don't like it - it does get way too hot too fast!28gax2/32 kanthal Clapton
Totally wrong, most especially as this was clearly a defective base :-(They aren't asking me for a lot of money at all, but 2 weeks ago they were simply going to replace it, then forgot me, then said they're asking everyone to do the same - splitting the cost of whatever it is they need to send out. I'm more frustrated at the principle of the matter than anything else at the moment. Was just hoping to hear anyone else's experience with the same.I'm sorry, but that is total bull shit! You were sold a defective product, they should replace it for no charge.
Totally agree. It's never about the money. It's the point. Do the right thing for your customers. I had a problem with a vendor from here. The package never showed up and tracking proved it. They wanted me to pay half the shipping to get the package re ordered. I absolutely refused. After 3 days of bullshit the vendor finally did the right thing and refunded my original purchase and sent out my original order 2 day air. It was only a $20 order but it was the point of the matter. I hated that they faught me tooth and nail but I was pleased with the eventual outcome. By the way the original package never showed up and it's been over 2 weeks. Probably floating around in USPS Never Never Land. Vendors, do the right thing for you customers they are the life line of your business.I'm more frustrated at the principle of the matter than anything else at the moment. Was just hoping to hear anyone else's experience with the same.
I've never had a bottom leak with the Boreas, The Crown, or the TfV4....... Everything else yes.... Specially the VCMT big leaker from the bottom o-ringThe Boreas has a base O-ring. If you want to get rid of it I will take it
Amen to this!! LOL, maybe one day you'll have double mailVendors, do the right thing for you customers they are the life line of your business.
That's pretty much how I do it. Except, I pack with wick all the way down into the cup to get the shape, then lift it up out of the cup, to sit on top of it but so that it's still completely occluded...no leaks for me, and very fast wicking using a very, very thirsty staple coil.I run 2.5mm and if you cut the tails just a bit past the main base then fluff the tails
I put my tails just above the cup not in it and then put the tail all the way to the bottom up to the front and I dont get any leaks nor dry hits
I has tracking now.
It was my only option with them, besides waiting on a base from China. Them being buried in work wasn't my fault, but it made me decide to not buy from them again.I hope you didn't pay anything.
Ultimately their loss for being shady imho.It was my only option with them, besides waiting on a base from China. Them being buried in work wasn't my fault, but it made me decide to not buy from them again.
Sorry Brew, not a valid reason to put it on the customer IMO.I think they had quite a few requests for replacement parts that all the shipping was getting expensive.
I'm not frustrated over $3. I'm frustrated over principle. You're a bigger person than I am, because if I had a stuck JFC, it essentially renders the tank useless. I'd want a full replacement and gladly send the one back. I recently purchased a mod from a clearance section of another vendor that said on the clearance page they didn't accept returns. I couldn't use it because it auto-fired. I contacted that place and they even paid return postage for it.STS sent me a replacement Merlin because the one I bought had a stuck jc. I had no problem paying $3 for shipping since I didn't have to return the defective tank, now relegated to the spare parts box.
Maybe quality control should pay it then LOLI think they had quite a few requests for replacement parts that all the shipping was getting expensive.
Exactly right. I read somewhere else in this thread that they had over 1000 Augvape tanks. Let Augvape kick in the shekels but don't make the customer pay. I agree it is the principle of it.Maybe quality control should pay it then LOL
Absolutely agree on this one! The base had a clear defect - it wasn't just something vague!Exactly right. I read somewhere else in this thread that they had over 1000 Augvape tanks. Let Augvape kick in the shekels but don't make the customer pay. I agree it's is the principle of it.

LOL I paid for something that didn't existNot good, not good at all to make you pay for a defect like a missing post hole.
