I was as FDA-Doomsday Prepper as they came, I knew this was coming, I feel deep down, subconsciously, we all did. Now it's here and you have people swinging from the vines of the internet like they should've been months ago before this happened.

Nothing is set in stone, there's a chance we can beat this, or at least make it better. If worst comes to worst, some of us will survive. Businesses will die, it's tragic, but, I knew it was coming. We all knew it was coming.

I exclusively use rebuildable devices, always have. I knew in the event of an FDA Doomsday sub-ohm tanks would be one of the first things to go. So the cloud br0s who can't build will be the first group of vapers to die. Not that I'm complaining there..

I've been a modder and have stocked modding equipment for some time. Even if I wasn't an electrical engineer this would be the case. I have over 10 DNA200's now and a few other boards, I'll probably order more in the coming month. I have 555's, PWM boards, over 100 3034 mosfets, thousands of resistors, hundreds of diodes, around 40 anti vandals and over 200 tactile switches. I have hammond enclosures for days, I even live near a CNC shop and a wood shop if I needed others. I've have mountains of extra screws and o-rings of all kinds, I buy multiples of all my favorite rebuildable devices. I have over 60 rebuildable devices as it is, and over 20 mods.

Then I stocked nicotine, flavoring, VG/PG bases. Hundreds of feet of Kanthal A1, Nichrome 60 and 80, SS316L and SS430 then I have quiet a bit of Titanium G1, NiFe-30 and Ni200 as well.

I've been ready for this day for over a year.

Also, I vape 1.5-2mg on average.

To be honest, as fun as this ride has been, I feel it's a bit short-sighted to think 100% of us will be vaping for the rest of our lives. It's an addiction, no matter how much better for you than tobacco it is, it is an addiction. It is an expensive addiction. I have spent more money on vaping than I ever did smoking and that is just a fact. Was it worth it? Hell yes it was, but that's not the point. This is an addiction that burns a hole through all of our wallets, and if you truly care about your health the best thing for it is to wipe every addiction away. Vaping probably saved several years of my lifespan, and it probably has for many others. BUT, you have to ask yourself, is this a crutch to get you off the addiction or have you just replaced it? Vaping is fun, trust me I know better than anybody how fun it is. It's a hobby, it's not just harm reduction. Just felt I'd say this.

Do I honestly see myself vaping 8-10 years from today, doomsday or not?

On an another note, there's people on the official Evolv forums laughing this off as well, BillW50 claims that it's stupid to make plans because 'a million things could happen'. So by that logic, we should all sit around with our thumbs up our asses until the government is knocking at our door asking us to come with them to the anti-freedom camp. I'd invest in this kind of startup. In another thread I wondered about buy Boreas blueprints and then finding a machinist to duplicate it with super high-grade materials for longevity.

Never mind Roxy. I will buy your tank before I buy another Aromamizer. I will just wait for the black to be in stock somewhere. I've had some issues with the past Aromamizers. I understand the Supreme is correcting them but I trust that you have built the best RTA available. Once different colored rings and glass become available I'll be buying at least two of these.

If this is indeed better than a Griffin - which is pretty darn good - this might solve the problem of constantly buying new gear. Now the VCMT which has not been mentioned here is also a great tank. I'll have to compare the Boreas once I get my hands on one. I'll write a comparison review too and send you a link. But it will have to wait until I get your tank, lol.

My Brother-in-law swears by the VCMT. I'd be interested in seeing your review/comparison because the price tag on the VCMT gives me pause. When a tank costs more than the mod I am getting I want to be damn fucking sure it is worth it. LOL

Yeah, I'm getting some crap from people who don't believe I wasn't paid. Whatever. I did it for something to do and was grateful to have the opportunity. I have no money. I couldn't do it on my own. I've been sitting here for 7 years rotting. I have chronic pancreatitis and can't work anymore. So I am just happy to accomplish something!

Yeah, I'm kinda excited - have an RX200 on order from last week's FT sale, hope it gets here before the deeming regs kick in, lol.

I'm still a tootler but the battery life is what I'm after more than anything. I've got mine on a Fuchai 200 now. It will last a day, but barely, plus it overhangs just enough to kind of bug me.

I'll probably buy one in black regardless since people seem to love it and the price tag is reasonable. No where near as painful as the VCMT!

I've been "out of the loop" for a long time on vape gear. I had a reo grand and a provari, but since 2 years ago I went mech mods (nemesis, colonial, SMPL), & sub ohm (at .24 now on my SMPL which is the only mod I have currently).
It sucks that my sister and her husband are more "in the know" and I've been Vaping 5 years and got them Vaping less than 2 years ago!

I've done DIY (and will probably do it again since subohm guzzles juice) and I want to start building coils myself. I'm doing a big equipment buy with this tax return (a present to myself because I have to spend a big chunk on dental work and I am TERRIFIED of the dentist, but an impacted wisdom tooth suck balls!)

I'm excited to be "getting back into the fray" so to speak. ^.^

I am primarily about flavor, although I need airflow these days. I think the flavor is fantastic, and am very pleased about that.

Right now I have a Troll RDA on my SMPL and I LOVE the airflow it has. The more I read this thread, the more excited I am for the Boreas!

I was thinking about the metal tank, but I wonder if it would be hard for those who bottom fill?

At any rate, I'm going to ask they provide replacement glass. We discussed that way back in the beginning. Spectrum or IBTanked would make it, but they're expensive.

As for decks, we are discussing ideas for alternate ones, but, hey at least you have two Most attys don't.

I bottom fill. A stainless tank would not make it harder. I usually fill it right to the rim anyway. I suppose, if somebody wanted to fill it part way, not being able to see the level would make that harder. But that's not an issue under vapocalypse conditions,
