I was being sincere in what I was asking @Giraut above too.
I've always known he is a genuine POS
Yeah, we "got into it" a while back because of his inept review on the dotRDA. I ended up having to make a YouTube video just to prove how much of a dick he is.
My response the day after his review:
"I have know idea why Jai Haze had such a problem installing coils on the new Dotmod RDA. Here's a completely raw, unedited video shot on my Galaxy S6 Edge phone. Yes, it's quite an amateur video, but I'm no video pro."
I will not watch any of his reviews, as this hater ain't gonna make him famous
EDIT: I am watching yours though
I’m no coil master but I usually have to set the coils up a couple times in a new rda, seeing as he’s doing an unboxing type review maybe he should take that into consideration before being overcritical.

I did the same thing. Anytime I see a hand coming at the camera and that walking bag of dicks behind it, I keep moving. He is like that creepy uncle you are afraid might ask you to kiss him on the mouth and then make it weird.
I have no use for any reviewer or such that has an in yer face false drama presentation style.
I have less experience than most people here and I'm not a huge fan of the way the Dot 24 squonks from the top to be honest, but I have no problem INSTALLING coils on it.
When I would watch his videos I can see a person who does not know how to use hand tools. I skipped right to where he is installing the coils and he acts like a child getting annoyed that he can't do things. Is calling someone spastic PC these days?
I agree with you 100%. You can tell when someone know how to use a tool and feels comfortable with it. He is 100% not a handy man.
Lol!!! @ the doesn’t know how to use hand tools.

Anyone remember the thread that wasn't about him?
I did see that when I bought the rda.
Nobody's perfect, but Daniel has actually helped me quite a bit. Especially when I very first started. He's probably my favorite, which is why I was sincerely asking the fella before what bad information he is spreading.
Also, in his move to the states, he now lives like 20 minutes from me and we're supposed to get together. He doesn't know anybody here. He seems like a nice guy too.
You are not doing video reviews and claiming to be the expert though. Or are you?
No, but what I meant was that even my favorite isn't perfect.
We were talking about the drama queen though.
Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. What I meant to say was that nobody, including Daniel, is perfect, but he has taught me a lot. Especially in the very beginning. His tips and recommendations have been helpful to me.
I don't watch Jai much. Except maybe if I'm looking to just get a good quick visual look at a product and his review comes up high in the search.
Jai is a massive douchebag. Hate his videos.

Daniel is the only one who shows you real images of what the power output of a regulated mod looks like through an oscilloscope. He also shows detailed measurements of the maximum power you'll get at varying resistances, and he disassembles mods in front of a high rez camera to give you clear close-ups so, if you know how to use a screwdriver and a soldering iron, he lets you find out whether you will be capable to do your own easy repairs of certain issues that might occur or if the mod needs to go immediately in the trash by factory design after they occur. All of that has been informative/educational to me on several occasions, albeit each time when I bought a regulated mod I had already bought it before I watched his review of it. And I don't buy nor actually even use a regulated mod anymore these days, or maybe use it only very rarely. As for the atomizers, I tried to watch a few of his reviews, but couldn't. I own several many RDAs, but I never watched even a single review from any reviewer before I had already bought the RDA in question. The same also applies to the vast majority of the 55 different mech mods that I currently own. I do not buy the mods online. So as a result, I don't exactly need video footage of anything, and I certainly don't need the old wives on YouTube always telling people what to buy.
Yep DJLSB seems a nice guy. I have not watched him for a while but I liked where he took mods apart.
No apology necessary but still not knocking Daniel only talking about the Massive Douchebag~!
Jai is an absolute drama queen douchebag. I'll gladly watch Rip before watching Jai. When the whole Vandy / voopoo thing happened Tony tried to downplay it while Jai (who didn't have a dog in the fight) had to go blowing it up.
While I was in my early vape life I learned a lot form quite a lot of the YT reviewers. Even Rip. Now I'm more selective about who I watch. I like Tony B's delivery (he was in radio) and his vape style is similar to mine. Mike seems to be knowledgeable. Hell, I learn from most of them.. Retaining what's important to me and filtering out the bullshit come rather easy. I don't buy a product based on what some dude with a camera in his living room says. I buy based on what interests me.
If these people can also earn a living or a few extra bucks in the process then more power to them. I see no reason to hate on them for it, but that's just my opinion.
Did you happen to catch his recent BS about the person making his Jenna Atomizers? Guy is either on drugs or needs to be. His new thing is getting people to give him money to be a Patreon. You know what they say about the masses, right?
Are you referring to Jai or Tony B?
BTW am I the only one who thinks Jai always looks like he's completely stoned?
JH the Drama Queen
No I haven't, but I do try to avoid him. Rip is a freak, but can be mildly entertaining and his older videos were very informative and he was less freakish.
Yep I have no use at all for the loud in yer face types of reviewers.
I gave up on reviewers to be honest, I do not need to watch 5 minutes of looking at someone examining the outside of a box and another 5 on whats inside. They already read it off~! I actually just looked at a video to see about a Gemini Atomizer. Skipped thru half to see what I needed and closed the page. Some of these people need to examine the device before doing the reviews, not on camera.
All I honestly care about is whether a particular review or reviewER gives me information I can use. A small number do that consistently, some less consistently and some practically never.
I also honestly don't have a problem with somebody trying to make money from their reviews as long as it's voluntary. I DO have a problem with manufacturer endorsements that effect the reviewers objectivity. I can however even live with them trying to spin their conclusions as positively as they can as long as they don't outright lie.
Daniel for instance. I can tell sometimes he's trying not to offend a sponsor, but I don't believe he fakes his instrument test results and he does point out cons, sometimes very serious ones, even if doing so reluctantly.
Speaking of Daniel, I'm still waiting for the fella at the top of this page to tell me what Daniel gets consistently wrong. Still an honest question. I will bow to evidence, no matter who or what it may make me wrong about.
I have him subbed waiting for the day he doesn't like a product
It will end up being a Pepsi he doesn't like.
Tony B likes everything, well except for a certain company that would not let him have their Gene chip put in his mod.
That was pretty funny. And a good example of when objective reviewing loses it's place when confronted with potential reviewer profits lost...
I don't care for that Vic guy....(Insert explicits here for that jerk!)
I assume you are speaking of the Grumpy Vic not V1ck?
I can watch him, his grumbling is a bit aggravating but he does decent reviews and is not like a Ginsu or Shamwow salesman.
Didn't Vaping With Vic just win the internet or sumpthin?
Have not watched him for a few weeks, but heard a rumor.
That's him!! I used to love watching him but he's rather, "An idiot." I'll just save my words, he isn't worth it sometimes. He has a tendency to ignore questions on his live feeds with some, not me since I have never asked, but took to a few a few weeks ago like they were trolls. Kinda sad his ego overrides his tail like that. I turned it off since he was just rambling about nothing. But yes, that's him! Smh..
Not sure, haven't heard that one yet. Bleh on my vote for him...
Todd is probably my go to guy for reviews, he seems to be honest enough for me, plus I can relate to him because when I lived in Yorkshire my X wife insisted I stay in the back garden shed for most of our “lovely “ marriage.
Another scot I like is Vic ,,, he makes me crack up sometimes.
Jai “whatever” can kiss my ass after I watched his WIRE bitching video .

He did a video bitching about categories he got booted out of -
I have no problem with his skills, but he's both boring and difficult to understand
Not a fan of Mike, and never heard of third place
Shit you people contribute more to draining my funds than any reviewer.
Third place is the guy who designed the Profile RDA
I don't follow any reviewers, I just watch video's on a mod/atty if I'm interested in it, most of the time I don't even have my headphones on, I don't care about their personal opinions much either...
Me too - I usually only go looking after I get interested in something after hearing about it from another vaper who like the same kind of gear I do
Honestly, most reviewers don't tell me anything I couldn't figure out for myself. They do however allow me to gain some familiarity with a product without buying it. Daniel and Busardo are the exceptions, but Busardo's vape style is not very close to mine and he reviews a lot of products I would never consider buying.
What's funny is that sometimes reviewers will report the diametric opposite of one another. One says this or that is not easy to build and or wick, and another says it is. One says flavor is ok, another says it's awesome etc.
Many times there is consensus, but many times not too. It does bother me when somebody reviews a piece from a category they clearly are not that familiar with. Or worse, they'll review something they clearly haven't taken sufficient time with to warrant the review. They'll slip up and say something that gives it away. Somebody was complaining recently that a mod (can't remember now) didn't have manual TCR and even I knew that it did. You just had to know where to find it.
When I see unanimity like there was for the Hugsvape Lotus, it sold me. Every last review, video OR written, to a man, proclaimed it an incredible flavor beast. I figure when all these guys can agree, there must be something to it. Especially with a no name upstart company that they have nothing to gain or lose by just saying what they find.
