How to Watch the Xbox Games Showcase 2020
The Xbox Games Showcase takes place on Thursday, July 23, and starts at 9 am PT/ 12 pm ET/ 5 pm CEST. If you’re tuning in from Australia, the showcase is on July 24 at 2 am AEST. The show will be one hour-long and as usual, we’ll be broadcasting the livestream here and on our channels across a variety of platforms. What to Expect at the Xbox Games Showcase
We already know Microsoft has plans to show off gameplay from Halo Infinite's campaign, but we don’t know what other games make up the rest of the lineup. Since the focus of the showcase is first-party games, we could potentially see projects related to studios acquired by Microsoft like Ninja Theory, Obsidian Entertainment, inXile Entertainment, Undead Labs, Compulsion Games, Playground Games, and Double Fine Productions. It’s possible we’ll get some updates on Double Fine’s Psychonauts 2 or Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and Project Mara. Microsoft might also mention Grounded – Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming survival game set to launch this month on July 28. There are also the rumors about Playground Games potentially working on Fable 4, and a new Perfect Dark game from Microsoft studio – The Initiative, both of which could also make it into the show.
