Gateway to what, smoking fruit? Cuz going from tasty fruity (or whichever) flavors to the horrid taste of cigarettes is highly likely for the impressionable. LOL

I think this article needs to go into "The Bad" because they're very clearly attributing the lower smoking rates to ANTZ efforts rather than what is actually responsible for it: vaping.

'Ash says this has been "achieved through a combination of effective legislation, policy and support for adults to quit over many decades - much of which has had a big impact on youth uptake as well as quitting".'

We all know very well that NONE of those things had one iota to do with less smoking, as it never did before vaping. So, what needs to happen is anywhere the gov't is successful in suppressing vaping, everyone needs to loudly say that because vaping was killed, or made too expensive, they went back to smoking. I'm not advocating that anyone ACTUALLY go back to smoking.. but if you get asked, tell 'em you did.
